Hello Madamme Francesca and to all fellow kababayans here. You know, i am so glad i came upon your blog. Nakaka aliw!!! By the way, my name is krissy. A transexual and a former japayuki. I have a french bf who is also getting an attestation d'accueil for me. He's 31 and a teacher in paris. He lives in malakoff. i just faxed him my passport copy last week. He said madami pa daw achuchuchu kailangan kunin dun. We are together now for a year.... You know via internet. He visited me last august and he wanted me to see france this summer din... like your daughter.
Di naman ako atat pumunta dyan pero when i saw how beautiful france is, naging eager din ako slight. He bought me books about france kasi when he went here.
Kinakabahan tuloy ako sa embassy dito. I read a comment na mahigpit daw dito. I'm pretty positive na makaka visit si lorraine dyan. Lalo na kasi anak mo. Eh ako jowa lang.
I have a friend naman may sister sya sa Germany... Same process din pero nakapunta. I hope makapunta din kami ni lorraine (sayang din kasi yung fee sa embassy noh! at wala din ako balak tumakbo)....To see how beautiful france is...maganda ba talaga? Pinagmamalaki kasi ni nicolas(my bf) yung bansa nya eh.
Maybe we can all have coffee in paris oneday. hahaha! hay naku krissy, gumising ka!!!!
Ewan ko ba sis, in love din kasi talaga ako ke nicolas eh. Walang palya ang communication namin kasi everyday... fone,chat,email.
Hay naku, may pag asa pa kaya sa mga nilalang tulad ko? i hope!!!!

Or maybe magkausap kami ni lorraine so i can ask her some advice kasi for sure mauuna sya mag apply. Di naman ako desperate... gusto ko lang makapiling ulit ang jowa ko. Kasi sabi nya kung wa epek daw, sya nalang ulit pupunta dito sa pinas.

i hope lorraine will be granted visa. she can use your business as a reason to come back home. i think that's what the embassy needs first and foremost - reason to return.

My children via regroupement familial paid 100€ (6200pesos) each.

your husband must have some connection with the mayor, because some here in nice and Beausoleil applied, married also to a french, were denied.

yung husband ko hindi french. 7 years na sya nakatira dito pero ang card nya ni-re-renew lang taon-taon. pag nag-i-invite sya dito sa france, wala ng mga ganyan. pumupunta lang sya sa mairie at sinasabi na kailangan nya ng invitation para sa...kunwari nanay nya or kaibigan. isa-submit nya yung 'domicile', bank statement, etc. mga ordinaryong dokumento lang tapos ibibigay nya yung doc stamps na binili nya from the 'tax office' tapos after 3 days, eh may invitation na. ipapadala na namin yung invitation plus bank statement dun sa tao na iniimbita namin. yun lang ang ginawa dito.

pagdating naman sa embassy eh syempre may sarili silang requirements. katulad ng insurance. pero visa fee na 100 euros? grabe naman. ang pagkakaalam ko eh 35 euros lang ang bayad sa visa, pag short stay (less than 90 days).

My gut feeling ako si Lorraine ma apporve! LORRAIN...

They have changed a lot because the governement is now Under Sarkozy rule. We have invited my Mom to come to assist me before my due (Mayumi) she came after one week of delivery ! Bakit ? French Embassy in the Philippines was asking my Mom to furnish them a copy of their marriage certificate which is not even included in their requirement !! Can you imagine the hassle and waste of time! The marriage certificate of my parents has nothing to do with my accouchement! My husband made an overseas call for that same bulls**t of government services, ma pinoy, ma pranse basta nagtratrabaho sa gobyerno !

Hi Francesca! I've long been an avid fan of your blog, but this is the first time that I shall comment. ;-)

My husband (who is also Illongo btw) and I applied for French/Italian visas 2 years ago in Tokyo, where we are based. Our point of entry was Italy so dun kami kumuha. Grabe, they were soooo anal! Hahaha!They really put us through the wringer! But in the end they gave it to us. Buti naman kasi honeymoon namin yun. Hehehe. ;-) But generally, the feedback from our pinoy friends who've applied for French visas from Tokyo has been generally good. Dapat daw dun na lang kami para wala daw tanong-tanong. weird how it varies per country no?

1. before, 2 years lang ang waiting time to get the naturalisation yata if you're married - so i need to check that out too!

2. proof of address - dati 3 months lang

3. domicile - they even asked us for our house layout, an official doc from the mairie

4. but they didn't visit our house

my parents were able to come year 2006. what they told me is that, mas mataray pa daw ang mga pinoy sa embassy, so they kind of go to the window kung saan me french (there were 2 windows daw, one with pinoy, another with a french stagiare - punta sila sa french hehe).

i think it would be good if lolo michel could write a motivation letter to the embassy in manila, attesting that lorraine will definitely go back to the phils.

your post today made me curious as im having the same problem w/ my two other sons in Mla, like your daughter loraine they are no longer minor and one of the two was already denied twice by the portuguese consulate in mla.even if he has all the required documents from us.
By being citizen in this country did´nt help me bring my children here hangang sa nag over age na sila.
I dont want to discourage you with my experience but i think you are on the right track by doing the processing the papers first in France.
I will try to inquire and do the same way as you are doing now, cause from here,when i inquired last from the immigration,i was told that the processing of visa must be in mla not here. all they(the kids) need from us is our income tax statement,proof of house ownership and statement of responsibility that we´ll be responsible for them when they come.
