Bonjour!
Minsan, may mga bagay na we wanted it our way, and we wanted it now.
Im talking about my daughter Lorraine to join us in France.
Since 2006, five years now, she was on her own in Manila.
She was 23 when Marghie and Anjo left her because the two joined me in France via regroupement familial.
It was painful that she cannot come and live with us.
Many so called friends adviced me to have her come to France via agencies, via people who I know a friend of a friend that can help me have her here in France.
I declined the offer. It was all in hanky panky process and I might be in trouble with the immigration.Besides, it costs me a lot, 500,000 pesos or 11,000euros.
Michel will kill me if I do that.
I thanked the offers politely and I prayed instead to my God, to show me the way the best possible for my daughter because I am worried of her safety in Manila from flood, storm, being attacked as she is alone at home, no work, no one to run into when in trouble.
Her father has another family, he cannot look after her all the time.
Five years.
Now that I am naturalized French citizen, since March 2009, I tried again to contact the french embassy about her.
This time, I asked the French Embassy for her to come and live with us in France.
I was very courageous about her coming here. I am not asking for a visit, but a long term stay.
Et oui (oh yeah), when Francesca wants to be ambitious, I lanced it in full blast!
Then I got a surprise reply!!!!
The embassy told my daughter to have ALL my original documents send to them and she must report to them this Nov 15,2011.
They did not promise to her of a possible visa.
But one never knows does one?
Bon, at the moment, we are like hanging on a cliff.
If she can be with us, or no, we will see that in time.
In life, we cannot have all things in our favor. But with faith in true God, everything is possible.
Below is a wise advice for all of us.
Keep on asking in faith.
Regardless of our circumstances, always pray in faith. If we are facing a test of integrity, follow the counsel of the disciple James. Turn to God in prayer, and do not doubt that he can give us the wisdom needed to cope with our trial. God is aware of any disturbing thoughts we may have, and he can guide and comfort us by means of his spirit. Open our heart to him in full faith, “not doubting at all,” and accept the guidance of his spirit and the counsel of his Word.
We all have our needs. If we pray for our needs and had faith that it will be, our prayer would be answered.
Our taking time to meditate on our prayer on some occasions may well enrich our own prayers and help US to see that even sadness over a distressing problem can be overcome if WE pray in faith that Jehovah God, the true God, will answer us.
Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.
Good sunday to all!
Ps; in her last interview last Nov 7, the embassy asked her about us. They have all our files in their data base, mama mia. When we (me anjo marghie)did arrived in France, where we are now, what we do,employment etc etc, where we traveled, etc etc.Mama mia...
And if we try to beat them with hankypanky business, we are dead, even before starting...
Honesty pays. Cannot beat the system these days.Olaaah!

Perseverance + Faith are what we need while waiting for the realization of our dreams. keep the faith, Francesca. I wish you the best...
During last interview,Nov 15,they took all xerox copies, and they gave her another appointment for Dec 17.
Maybe, if we need DNA test, it will take longer process.
She applied "Visa of dependent child of a naturalized french citizen".
See visa infos at french embassy website.
Thanks for all your encouragements. ill keep you posted...

ok lang po ako. malamig na po. 7C, and that's already warm for the last autumn week. i have been busy with my danish classes.
yung 99 euros for the visa application po ba yon? for sure, approve na po yon kasi you're already a french citizen. according to my husband, it's your right to be visited by a family member and especially if your employment record is mostly stable, no reason to deny because you can support her visit. i remember my husband used to say:they can't deny your visa, it's my right to entertain a guest. i pay taxes and i can afford it! sabi ko, what if madeny? sagot nya, i will sue them, it's my right they are disrepecting, haha. tapang. buti na lang, it never came to that point.

Serial, uu, application visa fee yung 99€. Korek si danish mo. Minsan ipaglaban ang rights, lol! May affidavit kasi ako addressed to the embassy, sign ng lawyer dito.Kaya, kilos naman ang embassy.Ganun lang yun, siguro, pag alam nila na totoo at serious ka, and using the law , may weight ang demand for visa.Kung wala ako notarized affidavit, baka wait list pa until now si Loraine. By Jan 22 ang visa study nila kung ok or hindi. As of now, meron na 51% hope on approved visa, lol!
