Bonjour!
Meron fiesta ng mga lemon sa Menton, 20mins away from Nice,(France) where I live. See the display and the parade, gawa sa oranges and lemon ang floats. After that, benebenta nila for .50€ a kilo. Lolo bought around 20kilos.Gawa daw siya marmalade and lemoncello drink, sus!
Then Carnaval or Mardi Gras sa Nice.
Avatar ang theme, second life daw, sus.
Imagine the event, on cold but sunny day.
Nag yeyelo and nag snow nearby the hills.
Im using you tube videos, because I'd been ten years here in France, once is enough for me to experience it, and that was very memorable, I dont remember what year, lol
Just to inform you, how the locals celebrate the feasts here.
No saints.
No religion in the middle.
No film industry (personages).
Its all for fun and entertainment.
Tourists and locals.Another culture to adapt in France.
Enjoy!
I need to watch my "film preferable" now.
See you on our next rendezvous( appointment)here.
Balik ka ha?

Hi Ms .Francesca. In Davao, we celebrate Kadayawan every August. It's not a religious feast as we know it. It's more like a thanksgiving for the good harvest each year. Maraming prutas -- durian, mangosteen, pomelo, bananas, rambutan -- and all the rest of it. Floats adorned with fruits and flowers. Kadayawan Festival of Davao is non-denominational so that the Muslims, the Christians and the Lumads (tribal groups) of Davao and nowadays Mindanao, could all enjoin in the merriment. Each year it gets bigger with many neighboring provinces sending their delegation for the street dancing competition, usually may tribal theme. It's big, I tell you. Maybe you could Google it if you have time. It's been going on for 23 years now.
Hi Francesca,
You are so lucky. Malayo na talaga narating mo. What a lovely place is France? How I wish makarating din ako riyan. Ah, hanggang tingin na lang muna ako. Kaya I must visit your website as often as I can.
Meanwhile, if you are feeling bored this is guaranteed to make you smile or more likely - to laugh out loud. Niara ang mga style binisaya na mga pakatok. Visit my websites: http://moneyoverweather.blogspot.com and http://laugh-jojo.blogspot.com.
Care to EXCHANGE LINKS? Just reply me with your link title and url.. and i'll add it up.

Jo, go for a goal. Makakarating ka rin dito. Try internet chatting in MEETIC France Malay someone ca sponsor your visit, one never knows.all the best.
