Bonjour!
These are stories worth to tell. Everyday ibat ibang senaryo, habang ako ay pumapasok na sa trabaho;

630 AM, i always take the tram to the train station; then get in to the train at 7:06 to Monaco. I start working at 8am, so I have plenty of time.

1.Dumping Drama

Going out of the house, I heard some voices, like some people fighting.
At 630AM!
Michel went out of our door, went to our mailbox, but listening to the couple fighting.
When he came back, he told me:

-Our neighbor upstairs, throws out his wife, out of the lift! With her clothes/luggages!!!
-The blond one?
-Yes!
-Why?
-Dont know.
-Michel, close the door, you are becoming a gossiper!
-Why not? After all they are screaming to each other! I just want to see the dumping situation!Hahaha! Call Marghie! Perhaps, she wants to see!

Marghie called out: Not interested, im sleeping!!!!

Lolo, tsismoso! lol

2.Inside the Tram:

It was 6pm, rush hour, Gare Thier Station. I entered the tram and behind me were a man and a woman with their backpacks and they were pushing me to get inside the tram quick.

I told them off!

Ow, Mademoiselle, there is a baby here, careful!!!!

She answered in Italian, "what baby, I dont see any, and so what if there is a baby."

What I did, i avoided them,I moved away from them, because they stink of alcoholic drinks, seems never took a bath for ages, they have piercings on their noses.
Look like TRAMPS!(Palaboy)
Grabeh;
The passengers nearby covered their noses with their hands, some with the collar of their coats.
Ang baho nila talaga!

We all just look at each other in silence.

The tram stopped in Liberation Station.
The Tramps looked at the map of the tram. They were looking for their destination: Liberation Station.
Before they realised they were already ON THE SPOT, the tram closed.
They screamed to get out, but the driver didnt bother, and continued to run the Tram.

Et voila, next stop na sila bababa. Layo nun!
Beh buti nga.
I didnt feel sorry for them, they didnt even pay their ticket, they just hopped in...

Marami pong Gypsy sa Nice, yung iba, mag nanakaw, or pasaway, lango sa alak, susuray suray, or natutulog sa bangketa.Or di kaya nag papalimos, me kasamang bata.

3.Out of the way

Going out of work, I met a kababayan. Hi hello, how are ako sa kanya, tsika tsika, then she said:

-Ate, dito na ako sa kaliwa, babye!

Taka ako, bakit?

Anyway, tuloy lakad ko, in next corner, nag met kami.

Me Police Station pala sa way ko.

4. Three hours trip going home

Once sakay ako ng bus Monaco to Nice. Me kababayan ulit ako nakasakay, Cannes pa raw siya uuwi!
-What? Monaco ka nag wowork?
-Opo Ate

It is just to show how OFWs tried to survive kahit delikado.

Hi Frances,

I don't remember anymore how I got to your blog, but I subscribed to it and I like following your daily life.

I love this post, gentle reminder to the people in Pinas waiting for remittances. I am not in those situations you mentioned pero I feel the pain of having to pay my own bills, and support a family.

Take care.
Allo Ate Francesca,

Miss your blog, was sick but now better. I completely agree with you regarding about sending money to the Philippines. I'm sorry to say but sometimes people there take people who are working all over the world for granted. I can speak for my mother. Since my mother came to Canada, she has always supported her family there but some relatives just take and take. They only call when in time of need but when things are done, we are forgotten. My mother has helped a lot of relatives but I'm hoping when it's my mother's turn in need that they will be able to help - I can only count a few.
Thank you for sharing those experiences ng mga TNTs natin sa France, may this be an eye opener on their families sa Pinas na pahalagahan ang remittances na kanilang tinatanggap, that money is literally the blood, sweat and tears of our kababayans who are trying to make a living in foreign lands risking their lives and limbs para lang maiangat ang quality of life ng kanilang family sa Pilipinas.

A blessed Thursday to you and your family.

Please. hehe salamat!

Thanks for a sober thought on this post.
Somehow, I felt sad about those two Pinoy characters that you met. I hope, someday, they too, like you, find their happiness.
ingat lagi Miss France in ur daily routines:-)
