The Captain of the Boat

Bonjour!
I studied his habits. He sits with us on breakfast time, spread butter on his toasts with confiture, then munch and discuss the days schedule. Weather today, he would announced is .... blooody 10°, windy, and we might sail...
Tawa ko sa expression: Bloody 10° haha.
(Ginaw na yun sa area ng Nice, despite sa ibang lugar in France, pinapala na ang snow, -0° pa!)
Then he took a bowl of prepared fresh fruits with oatmeal, and he finished it with tea.He offered us mugs of tea, by preparing them himself. Feeling Tatay namin siya! Nice young Englishman of fifty. Then after he finish his breakfast he stand up to go to office of the Boss near the Port because according to him, he will try to sway the Boss not to board, so that we will all can relax.
He comes back ater an hour with the news:
Boss, will not have lunch here, but will sail later at 2pm. So all crew would seriousely prepare the boat.
Or, Boss will not be here today. So all crew would just roam around waiting the time to have meals.
Not bad life eh?
If Boss will have lunch and dinner here with his wife, the chief stewardess is very busy, she will see them at the upper deck if she needs to prepare drinks, and that is every 45 minutes.
And day time uniform of the chief stewardess is blue skirt and white blouse.
If dinner is served , she would dress to a silk champagne blouse with black skirt.
Meron pa palang dress code/ motif during serving dinner? Mama mia.
So si Chief Stewardess will instruct the chef ,that all Crew must eat at 6pm, because the boat will be back to Monaco at seven, the Boss will sleep in his apartment in Monaco. Chef is preparing dinner for the crew (and the Boss )at 4pm!
Seven pm, Boss disembark, all crews, would go to nearby coffee/bar shop to meet other crews of nearby boats.
Life of seamen. Meeting friends in the corner. Good beer, good friends,quiet, rested, do what they like, and sleep.
One crew had dinner and drinks in a Brasserie and went home drunk. He cannot eat his breakfast, he had hangover,the next day, we were all laughing.
When the Captain offered tea, one teased the crew to have another beer instead.
Once , unexpectedly, Boss went on board, one of the Crew was not in his blue shorts, because it was not ironed yet, he wore it crumpled and tried to hide if possible from the Boss.
Ang tawa ko. Kasi naman, yung uniforms niya, madumi lahat , nakatambak pa rin sa closet niya pano ba yun malabhan?
Oh,by the way, thursday 5:30 pm the chief stewrdess was off to holiday,for two weeks.
From Monaco to Nice Airport, she took the Monaco helicopter.

Friday, I was on day off until Sunday, because the Captain told us, the Boss will be away for three weeks, so everyone does what they like.
One englishman booked a flight to visit family in London.Come back Monday.
One crew pack up to go home to gf in San Remo, come back Monday.
The only crew left were the chef, and the New Zealandais, with the Captain.
While the Chef, put a note:
Food in the fridge for the weekend:
Lasagna, chicken, sausages, beef roti(grilled)tartiflette, soup potiron.Salad.
While he is inside the Yacht, he is considered off too, meaning no cooking for three days, just re heat what he prepared.
He is a computer addict, watching films and surfing and chatting.He is single.
One day I tell him to go to Facebook Farmville, hehe.
Nice, isnt it.
Luxury living, like in a Cruise ship while "working HARD" and getting paid....
This is my other life in a Motor Yacht.

Before, I dreamed of sailing across oceans but now I think that will only bored me to death. My interests now involved seeing greens, mountains, and trees...
