new flat screens etc...

Arriving from Bacolod to Manila, two of the monitor screens in our shop were caput.Meaning it got dark and even to clean it up or tap it(bugbugin) it doesnt work anymore. 6years na kasi yung ibang PC.
Lorraine decided to buy two new ones. Another unexpected budget!!!!
We went to nearby mall, but we didnt like the brand nor the size .
We could have choosed the CRT (bulky monitors) but they dont sell them anymore.
Ganun na rin pala sa Pinas, updated na sila.
Lorràine said, she can still sell via Buy and Sell the old monitors for 500php!!!
Kahit madilim, some still can use it daw?
Ganun?
We left the shop (in Malls) and look around.
Samsung LCD for 3500php, 16inches.
Okey na sana. But second hand pala.
Yoko. Even 3months guarantee pa!
So we went to a shop ,( in Gilmore) and they offered us LG Flat Screen 17', for 5600php.
That was already a bargain, brand new,one year warranty.
Buy it in Frànce, the price doubles...
We bought two and as we saved a bit of cash, we bought a new motherboard cost 5000php (2.6ghz duo core).
I put the prices here becàuse it helps our Kàbàbàyàn s NOT to buy àbroàd 'if they càn, when we càn hàve it here in our country for à lesser price, sàme quàlity ànd no need to càrry it with our àlreàdy pàcked luggàges....
And if something wrong, we can have it change here. Practical na, convenient pa.
Light to carry if we bring our dollars, di ba?
How to go to Gilmore?
From Cubao Araneta, take a train (LRT) going to Recto.Go down to Gilmore Station.Fare is 14php one way.
After the tour we took fruit shakes in the food area, with a boiled corn in a cob or boiled peanuts along the streets.
Michel said, he do not fancy eating boiled peanuts, as he had been earning that during the War!
Yummy corn, with sàlt and butter...

I agree. Mas mura kaya dito as compared to compared to other countries. I remember a friend who was moving back for good here in Manila. He worked in Japan for quite a number of years. He asked me how much is the price of laptop here in the Philippines. I checked for the prices in SM North Cyberzone. Ayaw maniwala sa presyo and believing that mas mura doon sa Japan, he bought his laptop there for an equivalent to Php100,000.00 plus.
When he was already in Manila, he learned that laptop only costs P60,000 plus and are even in high specs as compared to his. Ayun, nanghinayang na lang siya.
Our country Philippines is also abreast in terms of technology as compared to other countries. We may not be a superpower country pero hindi rin tayo nahuhuli. Eh, kung sa US nga at sa Europe, some cellphone users are still in analogue, eh tayo dito, naka-3G na. Ang pinaka-lowtech na cellphone dito sa atin is the GSM service.
Oh, di ba? Kung hindi lang dahil sa pulitika, matagal ng umangat ang Pilipinas...
