Convocation is french word for Appointment.
French verb convoquer or being called to report.

I got this letter instructing me and husband to report to The Tribunal in Nice for my request for french citizenship.Bring only our carte d'identite .
Maybe I can bring a bottle of Champagne,too ? Hehe.
Story how to acquire it here :

Im in mixed emotions.
I applied it,last November 28 ,2008 the greffe told me, in two to six months they will call us for CONVOCATION.
Then ,in just twenty days... my interview ?
Hey, that was quick?!!!
Im not yet ready.
My french is still bad.
Painful to the ears.
Itchy to the throat.
Pounding to the brain...
Where do you go?
Le Housemaid... La Homme...
Thats why!haha.

Okey,this is excessive cinema.
I will be able to pass the interview.Its only French language...they will not put me to jail if I speak french badly noh?

Congratulations Ate Amy! Daming paper work but in the end French na French ka na.
The processing for citizenship in our area is very efficient that's why getting one wasn't a biggie. I just had to be patient in doing the paperwork.
