phil passport process in Nice France

This is Nice Beach area.
Imagine, marghie applied for passport in Nice France, Nov 16,because we heard, the
Philippine Embassy from Paris have mobile visits to accept applications.
Marghie went with Michel, sa St Augustine Church Garibaldi, ini held, meron naman Phil Embassy office sa Nice.

There are around 200 applicants. They gave Marghie the computation of the
passport process. 100euros! 6,000 PESOS!!!!!!!!
If passports issued in Paris, renewal, 40 euros only.
If illegals in France , renewals, 40 euros only.
Those with legal papers in France , with passport issued in Paris,will pay 100 euros.
Those who have passports issued in Manila but with legal papers in France(like Marghie's)
will pay 100euros.
Feel ko taga naman masyado. and feel ko, di sila taga dfa, bakit nag ooffice
sila sa labas ng DFA Nice, and ang higpit nila sa may papel (legal sa
France).Parang, if maari, ayaw nila i process if legal ka sa FRANCE.
Wala naman ganong discrimination sa DFA office Manila ah...
I smell a rat...
Kasi si marghie hinanapan ng baptismal cert, eh passport renewal siya.
when Michel asked , batas daw ng phils na kasama sa requirements ang baptismal.
sabi ni marghie, legal na nga ako sa france, renewal passport pa siya, not
new applicant, hihingan pa ba siya ng baptismal????

batas daw talaga na kelangan ang baptismal.
Eh, Mama ko nag renew sa DFA Manila, wala hinanap na baptismal ha???
Sabi ni Michel, religion has nothing to do with affairs of the
land. sabi ng mama. kasama daw ang church sa desisyon nag pag
papassport.kung wala baptismal, di pwede i renew.

babayad siya ng 100euros
two months pa raw process.
Eh baka bigla siya tawagan ng Boss niya to go to Spain, wala siya passport,,,
I really smelt a stinking rat sa ganong process. Parang di ako sure the passport will be delivered.
i was thinking, yung mga pumuntang yun,feel ko, mga taga travel agency,
contact of pinoys abroad, na members ng el shaddai at couple for christ, kasi sabi ni
marghie, sisters ang tawagan at yung me kilala, inuuna, and they dont bother
kung illegal ka sa france, bayad ka 40 euros, hintay ka kelan darating
passport mo, di ka naman pa ta travel....
Prioritize ang walang papel...
Hmmnnn....
Meron pa, isang ale, six months na raw, bakit wala pa passport niya, di nila
ini entertain....

Walang baptismal na sinasabi dyan. Di ko alam bat nila hinahanap baptismal.

medyo magulo ata yung pricing nila. nakakalito at parang inconsistent. At para ngang me mali kung nasa labas sila nag-uupisina. In a civilized place like FRANCE?
most likely po fixers yang mga yan nag kukunwaring mga taga DFA sila.
diba kakukuha lang ni marghie sa passport nya before she came here? 5 years bago pa expire.

Marghie's passport was issued June 2004,expired June 2009.
michel went to dfa Nice to inquire and this is his yahoo messages to me:
we went to the consulat with margie,,,,,,and discovered The gathering in the church in NICE WAS ORGANISED OFFICIALY by the consulate Himself to accomodate the philippino on the coastline.
Also the baptism business (clause) its the philippine affair so is the link "church -state" will you get this paper required here in france for margie????
To ask to renew the pasport too early was doomed to failure,,, they simply do not. BUT the experience of them comming back again in the south of FRANCE to help the philippino community will be in FEBRUARY 2009 or so.
so they do not renew passports soon to be expired in six months.
but DFA Manila did mine...without asking baptismal cert...
I am ready to apologise of the suspicions directed to them...
But this post for me is to be overly cautious and not to be intentionally/maliciously nasty to the people concern...
even the consul said, phil law said baptismal certificate needed for renewals...

Dito sa Denmark may outreach din ang emmbassy sa passport Procesing at ibang authentication. Ok sa amin kasi alang emabssy dito pupunta pa n Oslo so tipid kami ng fare kasi kailangan ng Personal appearance para sa new passport. Tinatanggap lang nila ang application dahil pwede naman gamitin pa ang passport kung hindi pa expired. Dapat ang applicants tignan ang rate sa website kung tama lang. Pero mahal ang 100 euro.

my son anjo applied his passport also,at dfa manila, he just arrived from France last week, and he will get his new passport on dec 15, no baptismal cert needed.
Nice Ambassador, is a french lawyer, and just a sattelite office and only follows paris embassy.
i will check on phil embassy Monaco or italy for marghies passport when arrive in france.
i will present her school records. if not still, she has to get it from other countries nearby, like swiss or uk. lagi naman siya nasa byahe eh.

my passport is being renewed and they asked for the baptismal cert nga, i paid 86 euro yata and i did the processing thru mail, yun nga lang, they need personal appearance daw for the new passport so i still need to go to paris for that..
