This is my yabang post pala. Just to remind you in advance, hehe.
Two weeks ago, I discussed with my two employers asking them at least 1€ increase of my salary, per hour. Its nothing to them. But it is already something to me. If 200hours work ako in a month, 200€ na rin yun ha. X68 .75pesos (sabi), baaaahhh..Daku na gid yan day..!
When I asked both employers,
Employer 1 (with Butler) said: I will ask my wife. After a week, he gave me the increase.Sharaap.
Employer 2 said: I will ask my husband. After a week, nothing...
June 15, I gave to her secretary the hours to declare it to the accountant, and secretary said, is the salary increase already approved by the Boss?
-No; But I asked her a week ago, she didnt say no. So I bill her that amount start June 1.
-Okey, I will put this in her desk...(secretary shaking her head, lol)
Monday, I reported for work,at Employer 2, I noticed the kitchen was well organized. SOMEONE WORKED IN MY KITCHEN !!! Did they hired someone else? Am I soon to be sacked because I asked for one euro increase????
Grabeh naman ka kurips...Tanggal agad ako?
Hmmnn, seems some nasty wishes of my stalkers,came true...

Madame arrived, she didnt say a thing about the salary increase.
I didnt ask also. Bah, if she doesnt want to give, okey lang... I will not cry for it.But then, why someone worked in my kitchen....What drama is going on!???
Madame said: I will give you your salary increase. But you know, its a lot. You are earning a lot for a half day's work...
Grabeh, a week bago pinagisipan? I told her: I will work hard for it Madame...(to keep her assured na I know, its a lot, but...its peanuts to you...)
Kala mo naman, work hard nga ako, hehe.
All machines sa bahay nya,for professional use, where's the hard work there????
Kulang na lang pati Pressing (Drycleaning)meron siya, haha.
Wednesday,I arrived, there's someone cleaning the silvers. And Madame was discussing with her the work. European lady... My age. I didnt bother, but its true, I FELT its a bit weird.
Im still working with her, still she took someone else???? Para naman insulto yun? Di ba?
Si European pala ang nag work last Sunday, while I was on day off!
Bah, hataw siya? Even Sundays? I dont work on Sundays.
Sakalin ako ni Lolo...
And La Miss European, she thinks she is La Miss Veritable (true one)
She told me: Do this and that, then you help me with this...
Bah, bah bah, okey lang siya? Ano siya, katribu ata ni Butler to?
I said: ah okey.... Then I left her, hahaha
Eventually, she left. She had to go, she told me.
Bye...Paki ko sa yo...
Then Madame discussed with me about my holidays .
I told her July 21-Aug 3, two weeks (left for my paid holidays )...
-You know, you are unfair.
-Eh? Why Madame?
-You always take your holidays when your morning Boss is away.And you dont come here to work.And I have to agree, even though I am still here.And suffer, because I cant find a replacement...
(Nag panting tenga ko! aba aba, inaakusahan ang Lola nyo? Di pwede yun ha? Kalma muna ako ke Madame, then I smile and said:
-Madame, actually, I'm off from my morning Boss since June 16, but I never took a holiday from you, because you are still here in Monaco...
Laki mata ni Madame, haha
-What, you are on holiday,all mornings and you didnt tell me? I hired that... that... European whom I cannot stand because I know you cant come in the morning...She is a pain in the neck!
And you are free, you didnt tell me?!
-Madame, I dont want you to suffer in my presence, hehe...
-Next year, we must discuss about your vacation month starting May.
-Okey.
-And you must be here when I m still here. You dont prioritize your other employer.
-Okey.
-And you must tell me when you are free, so that if I need you, you can come...
-Okey.
-And stop telling me okey...
-Okey.

She had been asking me since I started working with her,to leave my morning Boss, for her, with higher salary but I didnt.Pano na Butler stories ko?
Happy ako if two employers. I can negotiate both for salary increase.If something happens (divorce or may hindi gusto sa akin and she sack me), at least my isa pa akong work. Di ba? Saka partime work is freelance work. Im the Boss of my time.
If I cant work to them, I say I cannot. They accept it. But to secure my time, they make a contract.Kaya, hawak ako sa leeg...Hawak ko rin salary na gusto ko.

Madame, Sir, cost of living is getting hard to keep up these days. My husband is retired, I have two children in my care and two cats on top... If only I could have a salary increase, not much, but it would help me keep up the budget....
Sabay crocodile tears, which I had been applied (or practiced)to my husband everytime I need something....
If they answred: How much? Aba, meaning, may pag-asa...
Try nyo.Sometimes it works.
But if Bossing nyo seems ayaw bumigay, wag na subukan, haha.

Galing mo namang mag negotiate! And it's a good idea to ask for a yearly increase... if you don't ask, you won't receive, ika nga. :)
good strategy, may drama pa, but then dapat naman talaga ganyan--fair is fair, hindi ka naman nagpapabaya.
uy, timely, yung cleaning lady din namin, nanghihingi ng increase, 2.5% daw.. but since there's an increase in SMIC, it's just fair.. even the nanny... hay life, ako, approved yung increase ko, pero sa october pa daw sabi ni bosing.. that's unfair, hmp.

It's right to have an increase for you and everybody because everything had increased! You were honest to ask for an increase, dapat talaga hindi na nahihiya and I think you are working hard for it.
