One of those days, Butler

This topic is about Butler's Pride.
Yes, imagine he got one.
A misplaced one though.
He always told me, that if the Boss will tell him one day:- I dont trust you,Butler- he said, he will give the keys of the house back to the Boss and he will leave the work difinitely.
Ngek,Butler Onion skin???? And he said proudly, I have my pride too ha....
Hmnnn...Pakibaba kilay ko???
One day,he heard the Boss telling off one of the plumbers because the work to his bathroom is not acceptable. The Boss said to the plumbers:
"Je ne confiance pas de vous."(I dont have confidence in you)
The plumber just smile and let the comment fly in thin air.
(Meaning, it doesnt bother me, Monsiuer...)
-And so? If the Boss donot trust the workers, its normal ,Butler!"
-Ah no. If the Boss say that to me, I will say bye bye Boss, here's your key, find your new Butler...
(Parang bakla girls! He want to show to me he got his pride intact as marble, lol)
Tuloy natin...
-Butler, the Boss said that, because he sees the person as "doesnt inspire confidence".C'est normal. If he say that to me, I will tell him,
-Ah okey, Sir, what do we do now?-
Meaning, I put the responsibility to him to decide for my fate at work. If I leave, he has to do some paper works for my "out of work" status,to pay me indemnities.
If I leave, just to preserve my pride, ah no! It will be a very unwise move to do.
Check mate yan!
But, Butler's pride is to leave his post DAW !
May complex?
Di ba?
2.Anyway the holiday story that Butler wants me to ask the Boss? I did it.
My letter to the Boss says:
(In French language, girls, hirap, huuuu! I wasted three papers in the bin before finalizing it.)
Sir,
Bonjour.
Is it possible to know when I can have my paid holidays this summer, so that I can organise my time with my family. If I can have those dates as soon as possible, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.F,
There. Imagine yourself writing that in french language, yay, you would feel the same pressure, wasting papers to the bin just to make it "better". Haha.
Dignity Personnele...Ayusin ang sulat...
Here comes Butler, correcting my grammar.
I answered back :
"Ikaw na nga tinutulungan dyan, mamintas ka pa!"
He answered:
"That's exactly what I was thinking!"
Ang buang, he tried to tell me that he knows tagalog!
Paalam (Au Revoir) nga lang, he pronounced it as PAALANG
Magandang gabi(Bonsoir) he said: Madagang gabi.
Haayyy!
Anyway, I arrived at work the next day; the Boss put two papers in the kitchen:
It says:
Francesca :Total 42 days paid holidays.
Butler: Total 21 days paid holidays.
I got 3 weeks more holidays than Butler!
Poor Butler. As if Boss said:
("You dont have a family to spend with these summer,Butler????
Okey ,guard my house!")
But the Boss is not really like that. He will soon give Butler's full vacation. It is the law.
Saturday the Boss was about to leave to Geneva, said:
-Au revoir, et Bon Vacances, Francesca.
He called Butler and said:
-Butler,look after the house and I hope you dont call me for any problem..
Wawa naman Butler...
Feel nyo ba siya samahan sa kanyang dalamhati?

hi ate.
parang mali yata grammar ng boss mo. kasi sabi nya, "Je ne confiance pas de vous."(I dont have confidence in you)...
sa school kasi namin itinuro yan kaya sa pagkakaalam ko mali sya. kaya tsi-nek ko talaga sa dictionary ko. ang noun na "LA CONFIANCE" ay may iba-ibang meaning. for example:
==========
1. TRUST (avoir confiance en quelqu'un) -- meaning to trust somebody. * Je n'ai pas confiance en lui (I don't trust him)
2. CONFIDENCE -- * Tu peux avoir confiance. Il sera a l'heure (You don't need to worry. He'll be on time.
3. CONFIANCE EN SOI (self confidence) -- Elle manque de confiance en elle (She lacks self-confidence).
==========
So, siguro ang dapat nyang sinabi eh "Je n'ai pas confiance en vous." Siguro kaya tumawa yung plombier kasi mali yung grammar nya.
yun lang po. shine-share ko lang.
ingat.

Straw, ty. I think ako mali, kasi narinig ko, "ne", dapat "n'ai" and confiance and confidence and trust, they are the same meaning, as a learner kasi, at trying hard pa, lol.
Thanks, aba eh, matuto ako lalo nyan for my citizenship soon!

I know a Filipina Lady in Florida. She started out as a nurse, and now she owns a huge nursing home. She goes on holidays around the world. And she employs plenty of people - both Americans and Filipino Americans.
By the way, she is also an Igorot. Ang galing di ba?
A lot of Filipino doctors are also becoming nurses. Ikaw ba, wala kang balak mag-nurse? It's more profitable than what you are doing right now.

lifehacker,
i dont have any intention to be a nurse. I m afraid of needles, haha.
About more profitable work, Im okey with my salary , the work condition, and the hours too.I can see my family and the cats every evening.
Im earning a salary enough to buy a condo in manila ,in cash,at a year's work.
If I dont spend on my caprice, of course.

i'm an igorot, and an IT consultant based in berlin. 42 days is low compared to the standard in europe. i get 60 paid vacation days and my family and i like spending it in algarve. i dont know any housekeepers / chambermaids in this area. but i know a maid in paris - she gets about 45 days off / year. and her employer pays for her round trip ticket to the philippines.
Ako rin, ayoko rin ng nurse. Takot po ako sa dugo. But, if I am asked what I would recommend to my daughter, I would tell her to be a nurse rather than be a maid. Nurses have careers - and their potential for professional growth is much much more.

Micheal, thats a good holiday with pay, 60days!!! wow!
about the pinay in paris, if she works full time live in with her employer she deserves the 45 days and free plane tickets. She doesnt work by the hour, but by the package, until the boss is still awake.
ako kasi, i work by the hours,like taxi meter, 9-6 pm limit;
if they need something, they wait until i arrive the next day. I donot even entertain their calls, they can leave messages but i dont answer back.
Gagalet michel kasi if they disturb me in my off duty...
nice to be protected, sometimes...hehe
but them Pinay in Paris, earns good money too. 2000€ minimum.A month.
