dried fish vs cheese bacteria

Friday, June 13, 2008

I found this dried sardines for 6€ (400pesos) a kilo at one big grocery here in France. The look is so "sympathetic" that I bought 3 pieces. One for me, anjo et marghie.Michel, none as he politely declined to have one.
He's becoming economical, thats good!

At home, I cooked the dried sardines with gusto. Fried until crsipy to the scales as in. Yuuuumm, the smell...Even thr cats were watching in the kitchen.
Michel looked into the pan while pinching his nose.
He open the kitchen window for sure to take fesh air..
OA naman ni Lolo...

-It would be good taste,Michel, with tomatoes and onions.
-No thanks.
-You try!
-No, by the smell, it already puts me off.
-But you french,eat bacteria no!
-Hahaha! What bacteria? We dont!
-Eh, this!?

- Its almost with green bacteria...yaiks!

-An no, it is good ... that ,as cheese sandwich, with red wine...Ow.
Thats french delights at its best!

Ganun?

With those for dinner, it was not the moment to have a romantic evening after.
No kissy cuddles... Even to the cats.
What a couple.

i actually love this cheese. the smellier, the better. this kind is banned in the US. i don't know why. maarte masyado ang US FDA (Food & Drugs Admin).

speaking of the US, an igorot lady from kalinga topped her class in new york. read details at the GMA NEWS website.

something for all pinoys to be proud of. whatever we do, in different countries, in different vocations, even in the blogging world, pinoys can always excel.

They are both stinky and both delicious (for those who like strong cheese) :D! Personally, I couldn't bear eating Roquefort it's to strong I prefer eating Comte, Cantal,Mont D'Or etc. Mild cheese lang kaya ng panglasa ko ;)!
mas dun ako syempre sa dried sardines..sayang 3 piraso lang binili mo et mukhang masarap hehe ayaw ko sa roquefort..beurk! lol i prefer fromage de chevre. Husband ko ayaw talaga sa dried fish...he can't take the smell, tawa lang ako.
Nakakamiss talaga pagkain natin.

haven't tasted that kind of cheese yet, or baka na taste ko na din, ignorante lang ako sa name. Basta cheese, walang foul smell sakin...sarap...at oo masarap sa red wine.
