How's everybody?
Here's about us.

Francesca(thats me):
I'm worn out!Since March 2007, I never took a holiday, except that two days in London.
Morning work->Boss will be awayJan 20-Feb 3. Im thinking of taking a week off, charge to my paid holidays.
But, I have an employer in the afternoon.
They will be here on those dates, but away on Feb 7-22.
What to do? Hu hu!
I started to regret taking both work and complains having good money...

Michel
:
He is busy. I woke up, 2am our water pipe burst, water rushing out of the bathroom. Eh voila. Flood!I woke Michel, he stopped the main line of the pipe, and we start draining the floor, with Anjo.Until 3am.
The next day, Michel called the house insurance office,MACIF, they advised to get a prof plumber and have the work done, then send them the bill. He did. Now it is okey. 800€ bill, two meters digging of the floor to find until where the busted pipe.
The plumber changed the pipe to copper.
Next phone call will be someone to do the tiling of the floors, paid by the insurance.

And he is busy also to prepare dossiers for this month:

1.Renewal of Marghie and Anjo's residence card.
His invitation papers to pass to Nice cityhall about Lorraine's visit to France this summer.
Me:"Isnt it nice to be retired, Michel?hehehe."

Marghie:

She arrived France from London and she told me her experience at London Gatwick Airport. She was told off by a silly stewardess upon checking in.

She checked in and the girl said,
"You cannot fly to France, you dont have the visa"
Marghie showed her carte de sejour(residence card) and the girl said,
"It has to be blue and green color".
(Me:she must be refering to french national id card, lol)
Marghie: "Sorry, thats all I got"
Stewardess refer the matter to her co employee:
"Is this the residence in France-> Carte de Sejour?
The co employee said it is,(it means a card to stay in english)
Marghie was let off.
Me:Cant they read french like everyone? Ha ? ha? ha? !&!*#'!

Later, boarding the plane, still at Gatwick airport, Marghie showed only her passport and boarding pass.
The stewardess stopped her,in front of all passengers, telling her off, her passport is silly, she cant board.
Marghie asked why?
"Your visa to France is expired last March 2007, we are now Jan 2008, you cant board the plane to France."While her nose up, ala snob!!!shucks!
Marghie produced her carte de sejour, again.
Pahiya ang mahadera. She said shamefully "Okey, you may go."
Marghie: grrr"#!&!*!

Feb 4, Marghie will fly to Manila for a two months holiday, she'll back on April.

Now she knows how it is when one is a Philippine passport holder, only.
They looked at it, thousand times try to get at her with a green passport...
Ay oo.
Its nice to shut them up in the end ey?

Anjo:
He finished the language school this 18th of January. The school told them, they passed the language, now they do what they like until school opens on September. He and Marghie will be in University, anjo to take computer engineering, marghie to take Secretarial Course...

Anjo, doesnt want to go home to Philippines. He prefered to work until July, earn some money and take vacation if money is enough.
He searched work via internet, he found a factory, near Nice, that produce cheese, and he found the salary as 1286€/month, without experience is accepted.
He searched again, some clothes shops in Nice were looking for shop attendant, parler
français et anglais(without experience, speaks french and english). He plan to send his CV.
His friend in school works in Champion grocery, they need someone to do the stocks.
He asked me about it, I said its a hard work, and shops closed at 8:30pm. No.

I told him, send CVs to all coffee shops in Nice, as he speaks english, coffee shops owner would be happy to take him, 8.44€/hour, plus tips, and until 5pm only.
He can relax and have dinner with us in the evening..
It's better work, isnt it? Just for a temporary contract...

Cheeky:
He is at the moment, miyaw miyaw miyaw to me. He missed Chico, but Chico finished his holidays in Nice, was now back to Monaco so voila, la vie des chats, c'est comme ça.

Lorraine:

She emailed me, she is annoyed. The business tax of the shop went up from 1800pesos to 9000pesos a year.Plus other eks eks, she paid 14,000pesos .
She said, its now out of the way, I paid it all, BUT, she has to pay two fire extingusihers at 2800pesos each X 2. It is a requirement of the Fire department of Antipolo, and they are coming to the shop today to do the inspection if the shop is fire hazard, clean, secured, ect ect.

"Ask them about the fire extinguishers, if she can buy it herself in Robinson".
"They got a standard , ma, so they want me to buy it from them".
EH?"Okey, tell them, 4terms payments, as you are drained now of the cash after the HUGE liscence fees."
She will let me know....
I asked Mme Brgy Captain Marie, she said, bagong upo, bagong presyo ng taxes...im paying my liscence from 24,0000pesos now it is 54,0000!
Ganun?
"They issue official reciepts, ma, so I think it is all legal."
Oh yeah, legal robberies, under the law...

Butler:

Uy, at last, me photo na ni Butler. Nag iimprove na blog ko.Hihihi

He told me his miserable experience...
He went to Italy with the 4x4 Audi of the Boss, he was stopped by Carabineri(Italian POlice)
"Do you have chains for your tires? There's snow coming your way after two kilometers, if you dont have tires chains, you cannot pass."
"I dont have the chains, but my car can keep up the snow, I am driving a 4wheeled car."
"Okey, you may go".
Later at 2kms away, there's traffic. A long truck was blocking the road, and the police and snow plowing vehicle tried to get his truck out of the road.
Poor driver, he didnt realised the early snow, he skipped and glided the wheels.
Butler has to wait.
One hour, still nothing moves.
And Butler got a problem.
Due to cold, he wanted to go Pipi.
"Cant you do it in an empty bottle of Evian?"
He cannot answer back, he shut up, lol.
Really, is it a topic he should discuss with me???

And you? How's your year 2008 started?
My coffee mates started to dig up the 2008 horoscope books, LOL
