working on Sundays or not?

Sunday, December 23, 2007
In France, the holiday of Ascension falls on 1st of May,2008.
That means, two holidays in one day, Labor day and Ascension.
Please check your calendar 2008 if we have the same Ascension holiday, May 1
In France, if two holidays falls in one day, people here just take the day off, and ignore the second holiday.
That means:Work more to earn less!
What is that then the slogan of the President :
Travaille plus pour gagnez plus"(work more to earn more )?"
I am presently working in Monaco and the Ascension holiday falls on May 17.
I am not talo after all...

The salary of President of France:
19,000€/month or
1.93€/minute or
115.85€/hour or
926.82€/day

I cant complain. He is a lawyer. If he works to business men as his clients, he could have earn x ten.
But that salary, to compare mine, it made me cry...
Ay oo. Whatever my Bosses gave, I always cry:
Its not enough, Sir, and it will never be...
He he .

The malls here in France are close on Sundays.
Except on December month due to the holiday season.
The President of France said, if you work more, you gain more.
Bon.
Some establishments (malls in particular) wanted to have a law that permits them to open their shops on Sundays the whole year through. The worker's union opposed it, the law is still under negotiations.

IN Philippines,,shops are open on Sundays, sarap shopping!!!
Here, it is dead on Sundays and Holidays.

Here is the problem of some about working on Sundays.
They opposed on Sunday work because they would like to have a day off together with their family.
Some parents do not have someone to look after their kids on Sunday.
Thier helper is also off on Sundays.
The kids cant be left at home alone, you see.
If this law will be approved, one says, in ten years, the employers get used to it, and if the employee refuse, they would say: there are hundreds waiting in line to take your post if you refuse...
Hmmmnn...Makes you think, isnt it?

Plus the tax (21%)to it if you work on Sundays.
I asked Butler : Are you ready to work on Sundays?
Ah !Non alors!(ayaw niya, haha)
This work on Sundays, suits to students, who wanted to earn more, or to single ones who dont want to be stocked inside thier hole doing nothing.
But for me, no.
It is too much work.
I voted no to working on Sundays in France.
Pano na weekend get away namin ni Lolo if I work???!!

And you? Are you favor on Sunday work?

titz, yung insurance ay nasa Mutavie tama ba spelling? private insurance yun din yung name nang beneficiary nasa asawa nya, si beau pere gusto ipa change yung name to JC i believe di alam nang mga kapatid nya about this insurance na hinuhulogan nang papa nila 400euro a month for about 20 years or more na cguro so then we believe (ako, si jc at papa nya) sulat lang kami sa insurance na ipa declare ang name ni JC tapos if walag kuskos balongos i change nila kasi si beau pere may rights don sa insurance he can make what he want yun sabi nya; if he leave this world don pa namin ma get yung money na nasa insurance.
if ok sa insurance company to do so, why not?

Try ni jc to call the insurance if is so.

ah, me too. I value my weekend time with family too much.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
It's one of the reasons why I quit working when I became a mom. Noon kahit anong oras kung down ang server, dapat papasok ako. Ngayon ayaw ko na ang weekend work. Weekends are family days. Mabilis lumaki ang bata, before you know it they are going to have their own place already.

Dito may trabaho ang nasa malls but in the rural areas closed ang family owned businesses.
