Once, I answered some ads and these were the letters I sent them, and their replies.
My Letter:(nicely presented, computer typewritten/with own manuscript, here kasi, they want to know if you can read and write)

Dear Mme -------,
Bonjour.
I thank you for the call yesterday, it was a pleasant discussion, and here are the options I propose for my possible employment.
Salary:
I presently working with two employers in Monaco, full declared for 4000€ net.
If you take my salary proposal, I would like to try first working with you for a month (this August) and see how it goes.
In case you like my work in the villa, please allow me 6 weeks to leave my present posts.
If you need a lower salary bracket, I can work only in the morning for 2000€ net.I will be keeping the other employer .
Work:I can work 8 hours everyday, Mon to Friday, 9-5 pm.
If you need me for Saturday work, I would consider it as: with overtime pay. Sunday is my off day.
I normally donot work on Monaco Holidays, as my declaration is at Monaco SSS.
I never been declared in France.
Meaning, I would be working during French legal holidays.
I can start working this August 1, (while my present employers are still on holidays).The trial work would permit me to see how it goes. If you dont like me, its not a problem. You will pay me only for the month that I work.
Holidays:
I normally take 5 weeks holidays with pay. Is August the month for my holidays too?
I have two children with me. If I can work on month of August for 15 days and do the 15 days holidays in December, that would be good. Permits me to be with my children (and husband) for a nice winter holiday somewhere for ski.
Tools:
If you give me my accomodation,I would be bringing my family to stay with me. You see, I just get married for nearly 3years. Its not the moment to seperate me from my husband. Also, I would like to have a wifi internet connection in my(or our) accomodation. You see, I have a laptop. Its the only cheapest thing I can communicate with my children if ever they go home to Philippines. Please be informed that the internet connection would be billed to your account, not mine.
Also, if possible to have my own telephone line. I will be using the accomodation as my French address. The telephone connection is my proof of my residence ,for my carte de sejour.In case you want to contact me anytime, when I am not working in the villa, please provide me a portable phone.
Skills:
I been working in Monaco for seven years and in a Yatch as stewardess.
I can be your personal secretary at the same time.
I would like to inform you that you will not have problem regarding that skills and I might be able to travel with you in case you need me.
Please give me your best options, and lets talk.

We appreciate your letter (with resumé) regarding the work in a villa in Cap Ferrat.
We understand, that you have a new cat and it is getting expensive.
The salary you asked ,sad to say, we cannot agree with.
We are paying our previous house employee, (for full time work)
at 2400€ with free food and lodging, and your asking service fee (for the same work)is for us , too much of a pricey one.

We receive your letter and CV and we sent it to the employer via fax for review.
We consider your application as a candidate base on your experiences.
1500€ for a week of baby sitting seems a reasonable asking price.
They would like to inform you to call them as soon as you recieve this letter.
We appreciate your time and congratulations for having a Siamese cat.

Yan, mga totoong letters yan, girls.Ganyan ang options ko. If barat, patay, sayang coupon bond ko. If "generous" ba, why not? Be ambitious, yan motto ko, hihihi!
But then, if they take my options, I got a problem.

Try ko lang kasi, malay, may kumagat, di ba?
So far, walang nag tyaga sa options ko, hihihihi!
Kaya, stucked up ako sa 2 present employers ko...

Yung 1500€ baby sitting, I tried it, na get ko, hihihi!
Ba, wala sila nahanap, mostly all pinays were on holidays, except me.

That's the beauty of looking around for a better job when you don't need one. One can go fishing just in case someone bites!
Of course there are risks too - your employer may not be happy about you fishing someplace else. :)

1500 Euro is about 2100 Canadian $, not bad at all!!! puwede mo ba akong ipasok diyan??? :-) basta sagot nila ang relocation ng buong pamilya ko!
Grabe, ang taray ng options ni madame, wala akong masabi! At graveh ha, meron talagang kumagat sa 1500/week babysitting??? That's the SMIC for a month - gross pa!

te amy san kaw hanap nyan? makahanap nga din ng ganyan.as of the moment, anpe lang nahanap ko.part time part time lang like 6 hours in a week or 8 hours a week tapos 8 euros per hour lang.share mo naman hehehe pwede din paotang?

Hi, Amy. Tawang-tawa ako dito sa blog entry mong ito. Enjoy na enjoy akong nagbabasang mag-isa. Parang boss na rin lifestyle mo nyan kapag kumagat yung mga would-be-employer mo sa iyung mga demand.
