Butler's holidays

Wednesday, August 31, 2005
Today, Butler told me that the Boss cannot give him his 13 days holidays. Butler said, if the Boss is in Italy, he can avail it a day every week. But Boss said, no, I need you here even we are away, so I will pay you the thirteen days instead.
I told Butler: Hey, it is double pay.He said I think he will not. So I told Butler, dont take his money then. Tell him you take vacation!
But Butler is ever tender like a bading. So he took the money. Then I ask him what he will do with it?

There are times Butler is nice. If you notice girls, wala na kami gulo na dalawa. Kasi he covers my work. If I am loaded, he just allowed me to do the priority.

Kaya tuwad tuwad siya sa sahig to install it, lalo natambak work niya.
If I help them, di pwede sa kitchen ako tambay, bawal.

Butler is nice, he became human (or naging bakla ata?)since I work with him. Bwehehe.

Sabi ko, if you want, I will take a Official Bulletin de Monaco(Labor law in Monaco) about the double pay ng vacation if you work!

So far, excited si Butler sa new Pc niya. Huwag sana mag search ng "Francesca in France". Mahuhuli ako!

Ayala Office answered back.

Monday, August 29, 2005
Ayala wrote me back my email and their answer. They still didnt give me back the discounts. The answers to my email is in Italic font.
This my letter to them:
Dear Ms (Sales Manager)

My complain is:

First we discuss with Atty Pulido before we signed the contract, we avail of 2% disc( 43,093.06)+ 20,000 August promo,+ 5% discount (25,144.50)because we opt to give one spot deposits of 477,116.72 pesos - we already discussed. and thank you for understanding.
You signed ( we got the copy) that, that computations will be on the blank contract.
After an hour, the pricing and some discounts disappear. Right after we signed the contracts.
You admit that you all made a mistake. yes, confussion arises if we are going to loan from the bank or have it cash or loan thru UK bank. right?
Another computation arises:
You delete the 2% disc, then the 5% spot down disc is deleted also and whats left is employee discounts of peanuts(41,546.53 ) when we are about to send this amount of 536,408.55 in a month (August 30, 2005)?

>yes mam you are right the discount is deleted because you chose to have an interest free which is Deferred payment. You will only get the 2% and 5% discount if you choose to avail of Bank Financing with 12% interest for your monthly amortization. With regards to your Spotfull Down Payment Mam,San po natin nakuha ang 536,408.55? Please focused on the official computations that i gave you before you leave the country there's no 536,408.55 as agreed upon our last conversation. Your Spot Downpayment is only 477,116.72 Mam, this is the official coming from our sales admin is payable this Aug.
Are you all serious of the business or what? we cant blame you if we lead to this situation, sorry po.
I need an explanations on this, Frenchman is total mad about this, and told me to hold sending the downpayments. We will be opting to cancel the whole lot if it is like that!

Signed:(francesca)
They still try to win me back to get the unit, but sorry, bye bye na talaga. Kakain na lang kami ni Michel sa fine dining resto mamaya from the loan money, hehe.

Bye bye Condo !

Friday, August 26, 2005
I am ready to send our down payments to Ayala on or before August 30,2005.
First I checked all payments we need to pay for the condo unit we are buying.
They gave us the latest computations with discounts but when I add all of the discounts and monthly fees, there were discrepancies of nearly 42,000 pesos.

Our first meeting with the Ayala sales consultants, we agreed on certain discounts. They said total of 2%, 20,000 and 5% discounts as we are buying the unit in two years 0% interest. Before signing anything with them, Atty Pulido had scrutinized the contracts and told them, the buyer will sign it blank, but sign in this computation paper that all figures will be in that contract.
They did.

After an hour they said they made a mistake. They gave us another computation, and it reflects less amounts of discounts. We are annoyed about it, Michel wanted to cancel the deal that day. The sales manager said, they put the same discounts but not the same type.
The discounts are not anymore 2% and 5% but reflects as Employees discounts of 2X 21,000 and 2X Promo discounts of 20,000.

With their audited computations, I complain to Atty Pulido and she told them off, "that when a deal is done, no one should alter it unless agreed by the other party. Besides we got a copy on what figures to put in the contract. What will the foriegner will say about us filipinos, that we are all crooks, even in selling a piece of unit????!!!"

They had it that day with the lawyer.

Before going back to France, they settle the computations , putting back the same discounts reflecting into the paper that that will be the final and same discounts. So we issued the post dated checks required. Off we went to France.

Two days ago,August 24,2005 I have the itch in my brain to compute how much I will be forking out to pay the unit. I spotted an error. 43,000 pesos discount missing! I try it again, ah no! still missing the amount of discount. I was annoyed!

I email the sales manager telling them I need a final computation of my unit including discounts on or before last office hours of August 27,2005. I made a formal letter to them, signed by me as Buyer and Michel as co buyer and type at the bottom of the letter: copy sent by email and fax.

Off it was sent by fax, confirmed and by email also confirmed sent.

Today I wait for their reply. Nothing. I asked my daughter in Philippines, the sales manager called her and said, she sent me one email explaining that the discounts are not available anymore because we opt for self financing the whole amount and we didnt pass by to their in house financing scheme! I didnt recieved that email! My daughter said , maybe their PC is no available at the moment.

Okey, the PC is not available, but if there is money coming, they are all available! What do they think of us, kids???!!! They are insulting us, in giving us discounts that do not reflect on the computation!

Lolo is mad. He said, if they dont know how to do business properly, they should plant cabbage instead!

Fed up. Three times we see them Antipolo to Makati for the deals! Then that!

Butler days naman tayo

Thursday, August 25, 2005
Dumating mga Bossing namin. So Butler and I tambak trabaho!

Today, our Boss told us, to give him the lists of our holidays granted for year 2005, because his comptable (accountant) is closing the year 2005 (for our holidays). So lista ako, 9days and 18 days. July 12, kasi coronation ni Prince Albert, and August 15 Assumption, both holidays with pay.

Eh, sabi ni Michel politely: I am very sorry I need a proof na holiday nga yon. So the receptionist gave Michel a photocopy of "Bulletin de Monaco" stating that on June 30,2005, issued a law that on July 12 is a legal holiday to workers in all levels in Monaco.

Batas yan in black and white.

Butler said, lakas loob ko raw sabihin kay Boss, by legal proof pa.Sabi ko kahit konting euros laang yan, hahabulin ko sia dyan.LOL

Butler approached to kiss me, to thank me ba,(sa cheeks lang,) but I screamed: Bleeeehhhk,You smell B.O. (amoy kilikili ka!) Heeeelp!

Businesses one can start

Sunday, August 21, 2005
What type of business have you got in mind?
If one needs freedom daw, bring your own boss, you.

There are pros and cons in business. I started the internet shop, i suffered the cons at first more than the pros(profits), as the days goes by,now it is our third year,we (my children and I learned from our mistakes, we made up to our losses for the last two years, Bawi na rin kahit matagal ,now it was picking up nicely.Whew!

The cons I would like to share (before anyone deciding to put up a business)are:

the pitfalls, (how one can avoid it,)
exact costs when starting a business,
rent cost,
location, (check if there is market and who?)
liscence and permits,
signs,
employees,
promotion/gimmicks,
more financing after starting,(because you need to pay this and that besides investing)
customers, (how to bring and keep them,)
merchandise buying, (what to buy, how to buy, where to buy,)
if retail, (how to present it to have an appealing effect.)

All this I didnt consider when starting the business.
Here are some business ideas I am suggesting... in case one would like to start one.

SERVICES (dry cleaning, typing job, copy shop, maid services, lawyers' aid, watch repair, keys duplication, singing telegrams, tutorial service, room mate finding service, carpet cleaning, day care service, rent bestsellers, pet hotel services, massage in the mall etc etc.)

FOOD :( breakfast in bed to some hotels, cookie shop, low cal bakery, ice cream parlor, sandwich shop, convenience food store ala 7eleven,doughnut shop, coffee shop, pizzeria, hotdog ala french, corn in a cub, hamburger stand, salad bar restaurant, popcorn vending, fresh buko stand, etc etc.)

RETAIL: (Ukay ukay (shh dont laugh but its good business even in France)gift shop, womens shops, antique shop, furniture store, hobby shop,do it yourself framing shop, jewelry, shoes shop, bags shop etc etc.)

Among others are: recreational sports, automotive, manufacturing, tourism, publishing, franchises, the unusual like import export, paper recycling, bonsai collecting/selling,contest promoting, swap meet promoting, hold fashionable parties...

What do you think of being a Boss of your own? In Philippines pa naman, the minimum salary is 300 pesos? Maghahabol ka nag jeep or fx balikan, gastos pamasahe, stocking, lipstick, makeup, baon or lunch sa canteen, may utang pa nababayran sa SM giftcheck, magkano nalang maiiwan? Thats why I put up this internet shop, I dont like my children to run their lives like that.
I remember Atty Pulido's sister after graduation from college has to work in a bank as a teller for 7000 pesos monthly, eh their family driver daw earning the same salary,LOL livein pa sa kanila and minsan wala byahe, so pahinga!Yong 7000 ni sister daw bawasin pa ang everyday expenses to go to work!

Give your family daw a fishing rod to find fish for them to eat, not providing them the fish daily...

Hi,

I received one last march and i didnt realized it was a fake, but then it was not account to BPI and LYSANDER but rather to Smart padala and Bank of America and the hotel is in Westin Philippine plaza, i already paid the said amount when i called the hotel for the status of the said training, the hotel said there is a reservation but no confirmation from the company, anyways, its bad that i believed about it and many people actually do the same thing. I just want to know if the case has been solved. can you please let me know? i'll visit ur site again. I can email u the original letter if u want to,
And actually theres more,
After paying the 1500 php, you have to pay again 1000 php, for the POEA etc.they gave me another email too, if u want i can send you the two letters and i still have the copy of the smart padala receipt.

Looking for work?

In Monaco Nice Matin, (Manila Bulletin in Philippines) I find this ads very interesting. You can see how rich the two ads talk about employment offers and asking for work under EMPLOYEE DE MAISON category. And these are two serious ads among 20 ads for today Saturday August 20,2005. No joking at all.I put it in french language, then in english translations.

Offres d'emploi (Employment to offer)

Individual Mansion, needs a Governante, serious, experienced in Mansion and luxurious Hotels, available, excellent presentation, motivating salary. Send CV(resumé), photo along with a letter to Ads Agency adress:....

Demande d' emploi
(Asking for Employment)

Chauffeur de maitre confirmé,secretaire privee,39 ans,17ans d'expérience professionelle,depuis 7ans,chauffeur en Principauté de Monaco, expérience Rolls Royce, Bentley..., trilingue,français, anglais, allemagne,recherche nouveau poste. Tel. - - - - - -.

Experience driver, private secretary, 39 years old, 17 years of professional experience, since 7 years driver in Principality of Monaco, experiences Rolls Royce, Bentley... three language spoken, french, english, german, cherching for new post. Tel. ----------.

This is how to look for work or employee here in Monaco. There are lots in the newspaper at the moment, more on the "looking for work". Mostly the rich employer will collect the ads from the newspaper, tell their secretary for each appointments, and the secretary will see applicants and refer the ones best to the Employer. Some employers do it directly,(like my employer with Butler), will call and interview applicant by phone first, ask if one got papers and then set a rendezvous (appointment). If french speaking, the better the possibility of employment. The tip is to be presentably dressed when coming. As if one is applying for a managerial post in Dusit Nikko Hotel, LOL !

One that look for new poste, the secretary/driver must be really fantastic in his duty ala personal driver for the rich. I can guess, the two ads are talking about salary of 5000 euros/month minimum ! At least!

And three languages, just a for a driver! Not bad ... Me three also, tagalog, bisaya and english!LOL Kung di pa kay Butler, malay ko mag french !

Whats up na ba with my ex?

Friday, August 19, 2005
They are now in Cherryhills.Happy na mistress niya, she can stay with him longer.LOL

The rentors moved last week. Cherry hills Subdivision is a subdivision on some hilly areas in Antipolo, housing families in rowhouses. In one row, there are 12 houses, and we are 2nd from the corner road.It is a 60sq meters, two bedroom and a toilet/bathroom. Bigger than the condo we bought isnt it?Pero di bale na, it is too far from the city and the fare up and down by tricycle will kill your budget. So giving the house to my ex, is not a gift after all.LOL! He has to look for his means of living to keep going there.

Last time I saw him was at the airport parking, arrival area, when we are about to leave for France. Before anybody thinks about his reason for being there him saying to me Au Revoir, Sayonara or Paalam , it is not noh!(taas kilay koh!)
He has to give me the Travel consent of his children for their petition papers. We are leaving August 8, 2005 at 8pm, he has to claim the documents at DFA at 5pm and rush to the airport quick. Isnt it beautiful?! Parang kami pa ah, meron pang last minute see each other, ibang reason nga lang.He he.

The thing is, when he was approaching, Michel is with the luggages in the trolley, I was with my children waiting. A friend also run to the airport quick to hand me some tagalog newspapers for her husband, mama mia, of all pasalubong to think, Balita at Pinoy ang ipapadala. Anyway, I wishper to this friend: "look at my ex. He took a 24 years old to replace me,I am 42, so I took a 64 years old to replace him too. And a better one than him! LOL.Tawa ng tawa kaibigan ko.

Mind you it was just my joke at that time, dal dal ko kasi, buti hindi narinig ng mga anak ko, hehe.

Hindi naman sa nag kokompetensiya kaming dalawa ni ex ano, as there is nothing to compete. He has nothing, thats the fact, so no competition di ba? Poor thing, he(my ex) has all the maledictions in the world at the moment.Buti hindi na ako part niya when it all happened.

Why I post this ba?

I remember the oddity of it when we are at the airport. I wanted to take some photos of my children with Michel and I and planned to ask the FX driver to do it, before we go inside the airport. Souvenier ba ga. But my ever so quick brain,(buti meron ako that moment) stopped me. I cant have that picture taking and let my ex torture himself looking at us as one family with Michel isnt it?

Not all things are easy to do ,even I got rights to do it.
Picture taking lang naman yon eh. Kayo , what will you?

Lucky Seven?

Wednesday, August 17, 2005
Sa bawat galaw namin ni Michel, we noticed, we are lumbered with number 7.
We took the Trip Nice Manila, the Lufthansa Plane is Flight 788 and 789 Nice- Manila- Nice.
We took the Cebu Pacific Plane to Davao, we have seats 27 A and B.
We took Samal House Accomodation in Pearl Farm Resort, Davao, they gave us Cottage 7
We took Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City, the room number is 1407
We took Cebu Flight our seat number is 17 A and B
We took Waterfront Hotel Lahug Cebu, they gave us room 1004, I didnt accept it, as it is not pleasant looking or appealing, they gave us room 714.
Sakay kami sa super ferry, binigay sa amin Suite Room 304, yoko, amoy sigarilyo. Binigay noong naka alis na ang barko sa Cebu, 307.Na pansin na namin ni Michel at this time ang number 7 !
Then when we bought this condominium in Manila, we choose 10th Floor, the available unit na lang daw the next day is 7th Floor.

Good things happen today for us and it is August 17,2005. Meron pa rin number 7 link di ba? Hihihi.Kasi, we ddint close our one bank account. The manager offered us a loan, with reasonable interests.Yehey!

One year nga lang ulit, not ten years.Daya!
Lolo ask the immigration office kung wala ba kami cake as gift from the Immigration Office?
Because:

Today is our one year wedding anniversary ni Lolo Michel August 17.

Eto wedding photo namin last year:

One year na kami?!!
One year of "suffering" na si Lolo sa akin. Bwehehehe!

Today also is Karen's birthday ,August 17, Michels' daughter living in Monaco. Here is their photo with Daddy.

with mark and karen, taken last summer 2004.

We didnt choose hard the date,we didnt even think it is Karens' Birthdate August 17, LOL! One year na pala nakalipas? Bilis ng panahon !

Ano tingin nyo sa numbers 7, Coincidence?

Tsismosong Butler

Tuesday, August 16, 2005
Monday, Butler went to work.He is still on his holidays, so I asked him what for, the Boss are not coming back yet. He said, he had a lot to do before they arrive, he had to do the garden, the cars to clean, the garage, all windows, his kitchen area. He added, he cannot expect me helping him his work so he might as well start now, in case the Boss and Madame arrive Thursday, he is relaxed.I said, I dont help you, why should I? Kasi If I help him he has to do my ironing noh! LOL

Anyway, he worked Monday until 8pm! Finish the gardening as the sun is bright, he cut the grasses, than doing it when its raining (as it is likely to rain the next day), he cant use the motor grass cutter.
At 8pm he got 7 big black bags to throw. He cant do it when it is still light as daytime because Monaco Police do not allow it,(one has to hire a truck to dump it all somewhere) so he left the house of the Boss and come back at 9:30 pm.
9pm he came back for the bags...
He was carrying two black bags to put in the street for the garbage men to pick it up, when he passed by in one of the appartments nearby the Boss house, he spotted a frenchman jumping out of the first floor window. Butler hides. He doesnt want the frenchman will spot him throwing big bags in another apartments' garbage lot. But Butler is the one who got surprised. The lady in the window ala Juliet in "Shakespear "Movie is a filipina he knows of. Nagtago pa raw yong frenchman when he saw Butler passing by. Butler played ala monkey: no see , no speak,no hear, no talk evil.Kumbaga, deadma whats going on.
He he.What a story.

Eventually, Butler spotted secretly the Frenchman,he told me, he is married to a french lady living near the BEACH AREA in Monaco, bwehehehe. And he is the concierge of the building... Why he jump out of the window, why not use the door?
Guess, my deary sabi ni Butler...

Sabi ko kay Butler, hey, I dont know your story ha? I dont want to get involved, they do what they like.Sabay talikod.

Mamaya galit Lolo !

How busy is me???

Oh dear, cant believe it, I am now one week since I arrive in France last August 9,2005 and still the things I have to do not yet all done.
He he he...
Have to secure papers for my ten years residence card. I cannot find our electricity bills for the last three months, since digging hard to files and folders of papers in our cabinet box, so I produce our telephone bill as proof of address, but only one month, thats all I have in our file! Michel suggested: to give them the House Contract that we own the house, and thats it, they deal with it.Okey, hopefully they accept it. The immigration office is too strict that if our docs are not complete, they tell us, come back another day. Eh I am working na full time...Kelan ko pa ma renew ang ten years card ko! grrrrr. Stressed na naman ang lola to think, I have to come back...or be absent sa work...

Then the fridge was delivered, at last. It was a bit bigger, because it is an American Fridge, and the door of our kitchen is for normal size fridge. We Michel and I have to battle the fridge going in and out of the entrance door of the flat, because we cant fit it in going to the kitchen. 6hours of battling with it, (from 2pm it was delivered, until 8 pm, in and out of the house , stay at the hall area of the building, then in again, eventually, at last, haay, it got through, because we took off(unscrew) the doors of the fridge and reinstall it when it had entered the kitchen.LOL ! Imagine all the residents of the building passing us by, try their bits and pieces of ideas helping us, taking their own tools, ha ha! how we can get it through the doors, nakupo, nakakahiya, still to no avail. Kelangan lang pala tanggalin ang 2 pinto so that pumasok! Grrr. The time we stop, is the time to sit down and say: haaaayy, kakapagod!

Then my afternoon employer the Mme German kept on calling me August 15 (7pm until 9pm ) in my celphone If I arrived from Philippines, she wants me to work immediately as two weeks since I was away, the house is dirty. Of course, of course, if not with me, her flat will never be cleaned! I didnt answer her calls. Mind you I told her I am coming back to France on August 15, not on the 9th LOL. I wanted to prolong my holidays noh!Anyway, I pity her plants, I water it today and clean her flat on Friday. Got so much to do, our luggage from the trip, nakabalandra pa !Michel took only his toiletries pouch bag and leave to me all to clear! Grrrr!Gusto nyo mag asawa ng Frenchman?

Then some of my Pinay friends in Monaco kept calling me. They know I have only two weeks holiday, but they still dont see me in our daily train trips going to work.Of course, I am not taking the train going to Monaco. Michel brought me back and forth to avoid paying 70 euros train and bus fare for August when it is already the 15th of the month. Talo nga naman.I dont answer them. Not because I am a snob ha? It is because if I start seeing them, and Michel is waiting for me at 1pm for me to go somewhere for lunch, and if I call them is to stay with them. Michel will be on his own. Di ba it is not right? Husbands first noh! Then to call them naman, metered ang telephone dito in France. Nasa 7 pesos per minute. Sa Pinay friend ba pwede ka tumawag saying : Hello I am still alive, bye!around 1 minute call? Hindi! Telebabad yan. Kaya I ignore their call. Or I text them, I just arrive, too busy to see you but I will soon.

Then nadale pa ako ng flu. Naka sleeveless blouse lang kasi ako, eh ang heat at the moment in Nice is 25° kaya mainit pa rin di ba? Super kati ang lalamunan, inuubo, takot nga si Butler to get near me eh, (which okey lang to me, get off from me Butler, I feel better...heheheheeeh!)Akala ni Butler, nadale na ako ng Hongkong desease, no nga ba tawag doon? Ang bading, nag tatakip pa ng ilong(pang nose polution filter ba) if I am around! Ngani ngani kong sipain!Napagod ako sa work ko for Wed-Sat kasi silver cleaning, thousands of pieces! Lang !

I promised pa the girls of Segafredo Meeting to send them our pictures when we had that dinner. Great photos pa naman yon! Diyos mio, even to visit your blog, wala ako time! (hiya- mukha- takip!)

Pag married ka to a French national, tinatapat nila na ang renewal mo ng papers on the anniversary date of marriage. Madaya?

So, sa mga may utang ako ng time (blog visits or telephone call) sorry talaga. I wish I got your free time. Pag si Lolo nyo off pa sa work (until Sept 7 pa holidays niya,) wala talaga ko time. Eto ngang pag post blog, kung tulog na siya, singit ako unti unti labas ng room, kunwari, sabi ko, I cant sleep with my cough, kuno, pero ano ka, tsuk, pindot "on" ng pc para makatsika.LOL

Kayo, how busy is you? Buti pa kayo...hu hu hu!

Whats next about this buying the condo???

Friday, August 12, 2005
Itong Ayala, makulit.

Sent ako docs for the requirements, di raw nila na recieve.
Yon pala yong pc raw nila cannot accomodate 5 attachments in one email, kaya they cannot recieve all my docs. Baka nasa windows 98 pa program nila, and dial up, not DSL, and not XP. Puputi man buhok ko kaka explain, walang saysay. So Lorraine, have it sent by fax.

Then yong bank statements daw namin, di raw nila approve kasi daw account number lang binigay namin. Dapat daw Bank Statements, kasi yon daw ang rules.
Nag init na si Lolo. Sabi niya, sabihin ko raw, no one has the right to look into our bank account statements, how we spend or how much we have in the bank, unless they are the Police!, or the French Govt. Tell them if we fail on that document, they can cancel the whole lot.

Email ako kay Atty Pulido, explain niya to them , sa Pinas lang allow mag silip ng bank status, sa Europe and US, no way(ewan ko lang sa Japan and other countries, Meng? post comments ka ha regarding this silip silip sa bank accounts in Japan.)
Aba, they even call Bank of PARIS Paribas in Paseo de Roxas Ayala if ganon nga.Eventually, okey na raw, pasok na requirements namin, may discounts pa kami ng gift certificates worth 9,000 pesos to any Glorietta malls dahil complete na requirements within 15 days after reservation.Good, happy ang lahat! Lorraine, my daughter jumps with joy, bili raw siya digital cam niya, dagdagan niya na lang ng salary niya. Yoko siya sagutin...

Eto na, may pahabol pa si Ayala Sales Admin, pwede raw ba ma translate ang papeles namin ni Michel in English, kasi daw wala sila maintindihan sa contracts of work namin, mga payslip, etc etc. High blood si Lolo, when I suggest to him to translate it."What???? if they dont understand it, its not our problem! They can hire someone, cant they??What if i translate it, and it is wrong, I end up in jail! Hmmmnn, ugat sa leeg ni Lolo, visible na !Parang riles ng MRT tren . I emailed Atty Pulido about it. Bahala na siya roon.Pero wawa naman Ayala Office, malay nga naman ang French speaking?!

Back in France !

And very busy.Jetlag,Wala kami tulog sa plane, how can we, sa harap namin there are two howling kids, crying, banas na sa tagal ng trip, 13 hours Manila -Frankfurt.Then as 6 hours time difference,(France Philippines) 6pm here, 12 midnight in Philippines. Kaya after we arrive, tulog! LOL! Off lahat ng cel and land line phone namin, bunot ang cord lagay earplugs, la vie est tres belle(life is beautiful).
Next day (of arrival in France) I went to work. Inasar pa ako ni Butler. He kept calling my celphone, the time I arrive in Nice Airport, asking me if I will work tomorrow or not?! Want to kick him if he is just nearby you know. How dare him! Reminding me of WORK! Di ba torture yon????! ! ! ! kayo man, Hihihi.
Anyway, immediately, got to sort out our dossier (legal papers). For:
OMI (Office des Migration International) Petition papers for my two kids to go to France. Mga 3 kilos of dossiers lang naman, i file ko to give to them August 12, Two days after we arrive from Manila. Today we file them the papers, then they made a mistake, dapat daw October 2005 pa pede ipasok petition papers, kasi arrival ko raw sa France was October 4, as stated in my Visa. Okey, basta ba wala na kulang papeles eh. SO next appointment, October 5, to sign all whatever to be signed pa.
Then a kilo of dossiers also for renewing my French residence card on August 18, a day after our wedding anniversary.Dami requirements, Ten years residency na pala ibibigay . Also interview na naman by Wednesday also sa bank.

So babu muna mga girls, be right back. Basta mapost ko ito, ayos na...More next time...about Butler na. Promise.Sha, sorry cannot meet you these days, busy pa Lola. Hope okey lang ikaw dyan sa Cannes.

Our second Week, Manila Philippines

Sunday, August 07, 2005
I heard a lot of condo buyers` agonies and hard ups, that after full payments of their unit:

1.The house was still not finish, because they do not have enough budget
2.The money they paid is not paid off to the real company/developer,there is another subsidiary company as front that took the money.

3.They fully paid the unit,But they didnt know the area is flood prone.

4.The buyers do not stay to live in the units as there is no community (people) living because the area is somewhere in the land of Hiboc Hiboc and no commercial center to buy their daily needs.
5.No people staying in the property as there is no commute, no telephone, no water and electricity. That would be a hard for those Immigrants that plan to stay for good.
6. The construction materials used is butter, not cement. Meaning when you drill a hole in the wall, the drill goes thought like drilling in a slab of butter.

Then I spotted a stall of Ayala Land Corp in Glorietta in one of our mall hoppings during our vacation in Philippines August 2, 2005.They offer preselling of some condominium units .

This is what had been done after that visit.

For four days, I have to haggle Atty Pulido to discuss with them to make a close deal of the property.

It is a condo unit of 42 sq meter, 2 bedrooms, 7th floor , five windows as we choose the corner area facing Shoemart Sucat (Paranaque Branch,) just in front of the road. The site is 10 mins from the airport of NAIA,Duty Free Mall and Coastal Mall, 15 mins from SM Bicutan, 20 minutes from Makro Sucat, 5 minutes away theres a wet market, the site is stragetically located along Dr. A Santos Avenue formerly Sucat Road, that puts you in the center of action. It is 30 minutes from Makati, in fact they go beyond our expectations when we saw the site.
Here is the map of the area.

What is our purpose of buying a property in Philippines?
I gather it as this:
1.The price is lower, than buy it after Ten years.

2.Pay it in terms, if one is a dollar earner, the 200 euros monthly is peanuts, we sometimes buy a pair of shoes for that amount(or more if signature label), when we get fed up of the shoes it goes to the bin,

3.For investment, as the property is near commercial areas and near the airport.
Have it rented to your friends visiting the country if you dont plan to live there yet.

4.For good, meaning when we get old Michel and I, get our pension in France, spend it in Philippines where the lifestyle is cheaper, of course depends on what lifestyle we plan to have.

5. We dont worry about the building construction. Let the developer handles it. When it is finished, we just fill in some furnitures and voila.

6. As it is instalment plan,0% interest, we pay it monthly, we dont feel the burden, into petit a petit, tapos na pala bayad, hindi na namin namalayan.
Time goes by quickly.

I am sure this is a good buy, but of course, I would welcome any points to note (from the bloggers)in buying one.
