My first day in Manila
Tuesday, July 26, 2005
The trip is not too bad 15hours nonstop Nice Manila. Food at the airline is a so so, cant complain, the Italian wine is tasty, at least not bland.I feel at home inside the plane as 80% are filipinos!
One asked Michel :What first Tagalog words he learned when in Philippines?
He answered with pride; SAN MIGUEL !
Tawanan lahat, lalo na sa mga fathers (foriegners include) inside the plane.
We arrived safely in Manila,my kids picked us up to Antipolo, we ate at MAX`s , bisous bisous when at home they dive to the chocolates,(one even got sick in the morning, olalalah) and today I`m in front of pc, posting because they(my kids) went to grocery, while Michel and I look after the shop.
Last night it is an adjustment of my sleeping hours. Midnight here is 5pm in France, so I cant sleep! And I spotted one courageuos mosquito flying round the room trying to attack Michel.Hmm, must be: it wanted to taste some foriegn blood so I run after the beast until I got it >PLAK !, I killed a mosquito !
What a night...I put on the lights to spot them all, in case.
Today Michel read mostly the newspaper while me at pc.
Headlines he laughed about;
6 filipinos facing deportation in Indonesia for voting in Indonesian Election.Hehe
Two snakes entering a house in Makati, caught and put back in the wild park, but Chinese tradition says it is good luck to be visited by snakes at home...
More news as we go along...laters.
