And very busy.Jetlag,Wala kami tulog sa plane, how can we, sa harap namin there are two howling kids, crying, banas na sa tagal ng trip, 13 hours Manila -Frankfurt.Then as 6 hours time difference,(France Philippines) 6pm here, 12 midnight in Philippines. Kaya after we arrive, tulog! LOL! Off lahat ng cel and land line phone namin, bunot ang cord lagay earplugs, la vie est tres belle(life is beautiful).
Next day (of arrival in France) I went to work. Inasar pa ako ni Butler. He kept calling my celphone, the time I arrive in Nice Airport, asking me if I will work tomorrow or not?! Want to kick him if he is just nearby you know. How dare him! Reminding me of WORK! Di ba torture yon????! ! ! ! kayo man, Hihihi.
Anyway, immediately, got to sort out our dossier (legal papers). For:
OMI (Office des Migration International) Petition papers for my two kids to go to France. Mga 3 kilos of dossiers lang naman, i file ko to give to them August 12, Two days after we arrive from Manila. Today we file them the papers, then they made a mistake, dapat daw October 2005 pa pede ipasok petition papers, kasi arrival ko raw sa France was October 4, as stated in my Visa. Okey, basta ba wala na kulang papeles eh. SO next appointment, October 5, to sign all whatever to be signed pa.
Then a kilo of dossiers also for renewing my French residence card on August 18, a day after our wedding anniversary.Dami requirements, Ten years residency na pala ibibigay . Also interview na naman by Wednesday also sa bank.
So babu muna mga girls, be right back. Basta mapost ko ito, ayos na...More next time...about Butler na. Promise.Sha, sorry cannot meet you these days, busy pa Lola. Hope okey lang ikaw dyan sa Cannes.

Post a CommentHehehe... inggit si Butler (belat!) pilit ka na work.
hey, it would be interesting to know the requirements and your experiences about that 10yr carte de resident...till now, carte de séjour pa rin kasi ako, but with the baby, normally, i could file it daw after the delivery..ill wait for that blog, okesh?
If you are married to a french national, how many years and what requirements must you fulfill before you can apply for french nationality?
Does french immigration law allow you to have dual nationality?
And who can you petition? Can you also petition parents and siblings? Or only children?

ana, sa ten years residency in france, binibigay yon on the date of one year wedding anniversary. Ang french nationality naman, Jori, on the 2nd year wedding anniversary.
jori, i check on that dual nationality.
Unless resident ka ng Monaco ang a foriegner like my sister, they are not paying taxes but has to maintain residence in Monaco. If France sila titira, bayad sila tax even working foriegner sila.

Sha, you are tax free, because you are not declared in France. You are hired contractual. If kasi you work long term, kelangan, ma declare ka. But as you are in the boat, and the boat is not a residing in France soil, kaya wala ka tax na binabayaran, and wala ka rin declaration money from France govt.
Thats why Butler left the boat he worked before. Malaki sahod, up to 3000 euros/month, but not stable. They hire him only when summer.Undeclared. After that, no work.So he said he cannot earn for his pension/retirement. He went to work in the land afetr he resigned in the boat. Boat employers do not declare anyway, unless they keep Butler to work in their villa in France.
Jori, when I asked OMI if pwede pa ma petition ang 21 year old kong daughter, pag french citizen na raw ako, meaning may chance siya, as long as she is not married. But then, higpit na immigration ngayon, as per the news, they said, if there are vacances for certain skills, they allow entry, if not, then wala rin.
Then may catch to be a french citizen, susumpa ka na hindi ka hahakot ng tribu mo to France.
Ewan kung ganon sa ibang bansa? Alam ko sa US, basta US citizen na si Pinoy, pwede siya mag petition ng nanay tatay anak, kapatids...

Ate Amy, you could get that carte de resident din after 5 yrs uninterrupted stay sa france, e 4 yrs pa lang ako, i want to accelerate it kasi nakakaasar mag apply every year!
I am curious eh. Eto yun ulit: (please answer hehe)
1. If you are married to a french national, how many years and what requirements must you fulfill before you can apply for french nationality?
2. Does french immigration law allow you to have dual nationality?
3. And who can you petition? Can you also petition parents and siblings? Or only children?
Your Pinay friend is playing a dangerous game. She must declare taxes... and if she does not, she will not only pay the 40% inheritance tax but PENALTIES.
I don't know the banking and tax procedures in France but here in NL, if you have a large sum of money that you received such as for example: inheritance, prize, or settlement pay (if you get fired) then you can put it in a Stamrecht BV, which is kind of like a pension or mutual fund. You do not have to pay taxes on the total amount but you can allocate a specific amount every month paid to you. Of course that amount will be taxed. This is what many people here do, its more practical and beneficial. I wonder if you have a similar thing in France? I suggest that your Pinay friend have a meeting with a financial consultant or her accountant. Not a bank manager because they are biased to their products, they will make sure to bleed you from interest, floats and charges.
And I know Pinoy mentality umiiwas sa tax, pero di tama yan eh. Dito sa western countries naku thats a CRIME! Kakatakot if you try to fight against it!

Amy, why don't you start a thread sa Asawa for these immigration stuff? Kasi curious ako sa mga legalities at requirements. I know for sure iba-iba per country within the EU. Di basta basta, as in kakaloka. Mag compare notes tayo dun.
