The umbrella

Wednesday, June 22, 2005

Dear Fans,

I would like your comments after reading the story of this umbrella.

A lady left an umbrella at the seat in the train station.
The train arrived, she went in, took her seat, lots of passengers,Olaaah, when she realised she forgot it in the waiting area of the train station.
She asked me what to do?

I am asking you now, my readers ,what she should do?
1.Will she go down and pick it up? What if the train starts to move?
2.Will she just leave it like that, bahala na?
(But the umbrella is not hers, its her employers' she borrowed yesterday.
And it was raining outside.)

She didnt move to go down the train. She decided like that.
The train didnt move to go.
She is still undecided, (to go down or not,) as she still saw the umbrella in the seat where she left it waiting to be picked up.
Eventually she decides not to picked it up.Settled nicely in her seat. But she is grunting...LOL

At last the train moves after 20 minutes. LOL

If you were her, will you do the same?
Leave the umbrella?

i would go back for it. there will always be the next trip, i supposed instead of replacing it with a new one. it's not hers to keep or to lose, it's from her employer. burberry ba madame, heehee. have a great day. btw, thanks for dropping by our animal's site.
I would have gotten out of the train. Why, because it's not mine. My folks always told me to be extra careful with others property.
hmmm...it depends on my current variables. 1)if the umbrella is cheap and i could find it easy at some store to replace it? 2) if i could find any officer to ask exactly what time the train leaves and i could have enough time to go a mad dash for it? And, 3) if i have plenty of time ahead of me to wait for another train and risk loosing the current one? If all the answers to variables 1,2 and 3 are NO. My aswer is no, i'll leave it alone and tell my employer what happend, and that i willing replace it or pay whatever it cost.
Oy ganda ng mga sagot. Debbie, welcome to my blog. I looked at your site ganda pics ah. Guapo rin si fafa mo.
to add: there's no officer around to ask what time the train leaves. The lady got a seat, she dont want to leave it as a lot of people are standing.Next train is after 30 minutes. She might be late at next trip going to work, as the train doesnt move. But there are trains going to her destination every 30 minutes.
Still it is pressuring her.
IF its a burberry and its not mine, I would scramble to get it.

If its just so and so´ I wouldnt.

In her case, if it was still raining, and being on time at the office, drench and dripping without the umbrella... the first thing boss would think is... I NEEDS A SOAP? or CONGRATULATE ME FOR BEING ON TIME?

now boss decides :-)

Good day!!!
i would go back for it since it's not mine, anyways im sure there'll be a next trip, whether it takes long i'll have to endure it since it was my fault to have left it...
ngek, haba pa ng time nya no, atsaka with french trains, they're normally on time unless they're 'en greve'...original ba yun, sayang, sana ako na lang nakapulot hehehe...
I would definitely go back and get it without a doubt and it doesn't matter if I had missed the train. Trains comes every few minutes, the wait will not be long. It is just an umbrella...but there's a trust issue to it.
Last weekend, it was an exceptionally hot day and on our way home, we drove past a little stream. We stopped because the kids wanted to play for a bit. We all took our shoes off and paddled our feet in the water. Very nice. Anyway, when we got home and as I opened my door to get off the car I discovered I had no shoes! I was so ticked that I actually forgot to put my shoes back on when I got in the car. I just bought those shoes and obviously, current favorite. That was at 3pm.

The next day Bill came home at 7pm with my shoes! He went back to the place and found my shoes laid carefully on a bench.

There is relevance to this story you know...lol

Before my shoes incident, I would probably say, I would take the umbrella seeing that it's been clearly left there and it would be a waste to leave it. Per ngayon, I would definitely leave it because you never know if the owner might decide to come back for it. I'm sure the train station has a lost and found department somewhere.
