My sister Analisa, one holding the baby, my nephew Cameron, Adelfa, my sister too, Kimberley, daughter of my sister Anette, living in Woolich( Kimberley was a 2nd runner up at Miss Young Philippines UK 2004 last November, held in London, as sponsored by ABSCBN.The little cute girl is Analisas' daughter. Also a contestant for the Girls teen, but didnt win, too chatterbox kasi this one.Analisa and family lives in Earls Court, Warwick road, London, where the photo was taken. Her husband, a filipino working in a Hotel as Chief Electrical Engineer.
The story of Analisa and daughter is these:
In going to work, she brought her son, in the stroller, and going home she would pick up her daughter in school. One time, the bus is nearly the bus stop so Analisa said, Go, Joan, run ahead, and tell the driver we are coming. So Joan run faster, and when reached the bus stop, she stopped the bus, and she told the bus driver: Mum is coming, please wait. Meanwhile Analisa is rolling while running, with the stroller and the bus waited for them, driveers' eyes rolled. Kayo na siga!
Another story, when Analisa was still pregnant with Cameron, they were inside the Bus,standing up as the bus was full up and Joan, the chatterbox (madaldal!) said to her mommy: Mum, I wish I had a seat to offer you...while Joan caress her Mum's tummy. One Brit was conscienced bothered, offered the seat to Analisa. LOL. Sometimes to be a chatterbox is useful! LOL

Kwento about Adelfa (siya yong youngest):
She babysits one time to her little boy alaga, because they are attneding a birthday party. Eh isa lang ang contrata niya to take care of! Posted by Hello

The daughter of your sister looks CUTE at 100% pinay yan ha(?).

six long years ,Jori, we didnt see each other, kasi I was in France, cant travel pa. then sila also, cannot, kaya now they are regulars like me, kaya we all end up happy all together. The sister in Monaco is different from them, (in behaviour)Them, they are all down to earth, they would reschedule their work, just to be with me. Even baby sitting, they turn down, just to join Michel and me , sama pa si Cameron, in a babystroller, in a bar until 2am. Enjoy talaga! They want me to come back in July, may piesta raw ang Filipino Community doon. In every Bus/train, I spot Filipino nationals, mas marami sila than in France.
Good to hear you enjoyed trip to UK! Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Jori, my niece is half filipina, half Turkish from last BF of sister Anita. She got beautiful complexion and tall! Grabeh at 14, ang taas na! Slim pa.
Ang tsika:
I was supposed to meet Cee on Saturday, but sisters said, its far the Oxford Center, the time you go there, is the time to come back, as Michel is coming in the evening of Saturday.

But I would like to see Cee, and Gavin, and Oxford Universities, kasi maganda raw doon. But the trip by train is nearly 6 hours round trip. Sisters decided, stay in London muna, as there are lots to see.
So, the ever understanding Cee, has to resume her plans to go with Bill to a birthday party of Bills' sister in law.Cee, muah, we will meet in France na lang.

Also, I have to meet Sha's sister Tara, Monday at 6PM! Ngeehh, I have a flight on Tuesday back to France at 6am, last boarding time is 530 am.
Eh wala pala tube from London Center going to Victoria Station and to Gatwick Airport is at 6am. I will miss my flight.
So, dali daling nag book ng hotel near the Airport, buti meron, nag shuttle bus na lang kami (my sister adelfa joined me in the hotel)
From airport, we joined the people in the shuttle bus going to the hotel Europa. Buti me mga kasabay kaming bagong dating from other destinations.

So, I didnt meet Tara, waaah.

Next time na lang, basta I will try na talaga. After all nalibot ko na halos ang London area except the Tower of London and Mme Tussaud's (tama ba spelling?)

Ang pounds to euros pa naman is 1.50! Akala ko kasi from the airport, one step, bahay na ng sister ko. Ala Nice ba? Hindi pala.
May train pa, then bus...then oras to consider the open service.

One thing pala, KK, thanks for dropping by.

Also, I made some errors.

I was supposed to buy British £ in London. But I start na buying when in France, kasi gabi ang landing ko.Isip ko sarado ang airport money changer, eh bibili ako train ticket.
The palit is 149 euros sa 100£.In France.
When in London, I changed my euros, grabeh ang taas!

1.5060! So yong 100£ is 150.60 plus (oo may plus, na nakakainis!)9.5%commisions ng money changer.
So total euros paid is: 150.60 + 14.30 = 164.90 euros binayad ko to have 100£!15.90 euros ang difference! Eh, I changed more!

Grrrr!

Sa susunod, kala nila!Hindi na sila uulit!hehe!

I will see pa how it goes sa shopping ko using my card!

I will post soon.
Hi Sis,
I enjoyed looking at your pics. Ang ganda ng London , pero mas maganda ka :) .Ingit ako talaga kc wish ko din kaming magkakapatid will get to see each other someday.
madame, welcome back! don't you love family reunion? me, i always get to see my two siblings almost every month and it still excite me. how much more for six years? but it's all worth it, no. seems like you don't want to leave them again. all your pics and kwento are amazing. i wonder when can i get to visit UK and france. hopefully on my next duty station? sana po, sana po! gaganda lahi nyo, madame!
Amy,

Guess it was best if you could have just used the ATM. Hindi yan magkakalayo sa interbank rates. I did that and ATMs in the airport are of course 24 hours operational. Just be sure that your bank card can work anywhere kaya importante to bank with international banks.
day mag kano ang nagastos? hahha you look very happy!!!

When I am paying in GAP shop, sabi ng girl, the pin code system of our machine do not work, so pls just sign the reciept. Eh, I did sign. Of course iba! Hindi raw akin ang card. Sabi ko, of course, its my husband's.
Tinawag si Manager. Sabi ko, we are joined account, here is the RIB (bank identity slip) that our names are indicated as joined account.
Lapit si Manager, he told me off:
You are not supposed to use your hsbands' card.
Tinarayan ko nga: And why not?
We are joined account, look! (showing him the RIB again.) Ayaw pa. So I said, well if you dont accept that, I will return the goods, but make sure it is not debited in our account, because she swipe our card to finish the transaction.

I said no, I have a valid visa card, i will return all goods, but make sure it is not debited, thats all i want to know.

Eventually sabi ni manager,"do you know the pin code of the card"? "Of course!"sagot ko.
"okey, sales is valid, you can take the goods."
Kaya naka pink coat ako, from Gap hehehe.
When at Primark, same situation, but the girl cashier didnt even look, or questioned me, okey naman.

Actually I got the other card in my name in this bank: Bank (Paribas) de Paris. Eh yong card ko in my name na nakajoint kay Michel, nasa daughter ko sa Phils, para when she need money, she just took some in HSBC there.

Kaya wala ako card in my name.

Yong isang card ko naman kasi, close account na dahil inasar ako ng manager, tinakot ako ng bawi visa card and checkbook, eh four days lang ako delayed payments sa overspendings ko.So upon reciept ng letter niya, sinoli ko visa card and crossed by pen checkbook.

Now they are crying, na okey na raw ang account ko, get raw my new visa card. DEADMA KO NGA!
Pagkatapos ako insultuhin, pahiran ako ng butter to smooth things out.
Close account na ako, ligaw pa sila to get my visa card to them? what a joke!

Michel has his bankaccount in Paribas, Monaco, kaya he use his own bankcard.

Me yong ka joint na lang.Yan ang storya ng spending in london. Kakaloka!

Malaki gastos,Grabeh! No wonder in British Embassy in Phils, pag wala ka katorya torya tingnan as having money, theyd eny you the visa!
Bu its okey. Ganon talaga, when in travel, not everything is free. Kahit may kapatids pa. LOL!

miss you,Sha,and our yahoo chats.

Jori, thanks for the tips, next time, talaga, I will use the atm na.
