We will conduct Job Orientation Seminar, Training / IQ Testing for qualified applicants on March 29-30, 2005 -MARRIOTT HOTEL- Cebu Business Park- CEBU, Phils. (Complete details and informations will be sent to you together with the Program of Events after February 27, 2005 since our schedule at the moment is under "WAIT LIST SCHEDULE" due to fully-booked schedules accrdg. to the Hotel Management. Further notice will be sent to you as soon as possible when all our arangements with the hotel have been okayed). IQ Test should be conducted first before comprehensive training of all qualified applicants starts. Flight schedule will be set after Orientation and after we can assure that all qualified applicants have already their NBI and PASSPORT while we process your VISA.
Length of days of your training before actual job starts, depends upon the result of the IQ Test to classify each applicant wheter he/she belongs to:
Class A - for one week training
Class B - for two weeks training
Class C - one month training
Passing rate: no passing rate. All below average must undergo Class C or one month training before the actual job will start.
Note: You are receiving $20 per hour during training.
IQ Test will be conducted this coming March 29-30, 2005 tentatively @ MARRIOTT HOTEL- Cebu, Phils. Please bring original copies of your requirements as stated below during IQ Test. Applicants who have no requirements or lacking of requirements would be automatically cancelled from our list of qualified applicants and replacement will be made. Reservation fee = P 1,500.00 only ( serve as a reservation fee for the computer training kit that you are going to use during training and IQ Testing because this is a computer-based Training and IQ Testing. Pointers: Windows Applications and Typing Speed. Your reservation fee is subject for refund on that day during Orientation after IQ Test in a form of on dated cheque or cash. Bring 1 diskette. This is 1 applicant is to 1 computer IQ Testing. We dont want to bring extra baggage of computer equipment in the plane. That is why we require the applicant to have reservation fee (but refundable on that day after IQ Test), in order for him or her to reserve one computer to be use during IQ Testing and to assure the interest of the applicants.
Note: All other fees are shouldered by the company.

Post a CommentHi there! I found your site from Manang Kusinera. I love reading your funny exploits. Just wanted to drop a comment about this bogus email. I say bogus because the document has a lot of wrong grammar lines, doesn't make sense and requires a "reservation" fee. Any "recruiter" or announcement of job openings that requires payment should be looked into. If any of your friends are planning to reply to this "opening" advise them to make a background check on the "company" (in this case JP Morgan Chase - http://careers.jpmorganchase.com/index.html), the job opening and and the supposed representatives. 1500 pesos is a lot of money in the Philippines and a $20 per hour rate is very interesting. Who wouldn't want to try it right? But word of caution to those you know who are interested to try this training, make sure they do a background check on the company posting the vacancy before they release their money for "reservation". There's a chance that the hard earned money may not come back anymore. I could be wrong here, and in the event this turns out to be a legitimate opening, then my best wishes and good luck to those who will make it. Keep writing those funny stories of your! More power!

JP Morgan and Partech have ben informed of what happen in the Philippines. They are not at the origin of this swindle of course! It's in the hand of their lawyers now.

I forwarded the scam email to my friend who works for a newspaper, and to BPI requesting that they verify the owner of the BPI account as it may be helping these undesirable people from scamming our kababayans of their hard earned money. BPI has already sent me two emails and they said the matter is now with their Risk Management group. Let's wait how their investigation goes.
BTW, is it possible that you forward to me the ORIGINAL email? My friend who works for the newspaper wants to see the original and probably track its footprint. It may help them find the source.

I received one last march and i didnt realized it was a fake, but then it was not account to BPI and LYSANDER but rather to Smart padala and Bank of America and the hotel is in Westin Philippine plaza, i already paid the said amount when i called the hotel for the status of the said training, the hotel said there is a reservation but no confirmation from the company, anyways, its bad that i believed about it and many people actually do the same thing. I just want to know if the case has been solved. can you please let me know? i'll visit ur site again. I can email u the original letter if u want to,

After paying the 1500 php, you have to pay again 1000 php, for the POEA etc.they gave me another email too, if u want i can send you the two letters and i still have the copy of the smart padala receipt.

hey guys i think we got the same e mail message but the name they used in me was the internet commerce corporation based in new york USA.. its very tempting right???? a $2000 signing bonus and another $2000 to be leave in the family before going in USA.. plus a $20 training allowance and all the benefits you can get... i have the copy of the message in my mail if you want ill send it to you i think its more tempting than before.... i was about to send the 1500 reservation "daw" today but i was really in doubt about it thats why i search before i make it... i already completed all the required requirements.... luckily i seen this blogger site and it help me a lot really its not easy to earn money thats why its to hard to released it that easily... if you guys received a very tempting job opportunity but you have to pay invistigate the company first or all the concern people if they are true or just want to earn money using scam advertisement.... c yeah guys and thanks a lot....

(JPC MORGAN CHASE GROUP). but it was a GHOST! i can't find it. i only found two companies which is Nextech Systems and JP Morgan Chase (without letter 'C'). so this was the time i created a doubt in my mind. i started to investigate and found out that 'THE TWO COMPANIES WERE NOT CONNECTED OR AFFILIATED IN ANY MEANS'! what the f***?!
i'll give you the MS Word format of their 'Application form' as well as their 'Evaluation form' so to speak.

Hi, I'm happy to found your site and to know now without regrets that I was correct in my decision of not giving up my P1500 as reservation fee way back on February 4, 2004. I was also tempted that time about the good job offers of Lysander Multimedia Inc. SCAM. Of course, at that time i still don't know yet that it was a hoax. I started to have a bad feelings when i learned that i need to deposit an amount of money in the bank as a reservation fee. But I'm still hopeful that it's still true, because I was desperate that time to have a good job opportunity abroad. So what i did was to check their agency in the POEA and shocked to found out that they are not registered. I still emailed them and informed them that I'm ready to deposit the money on that moment but first they must answer why their not in the list of POEA. Unfortunately, they didn't answer back which proved one thing... so i decided not to pursue it. By the way at that time they used a Metrobank account and the place of reservation was in Century Park HOtel in Manila. If you like I can give you a copy of their email to me. I wish those scammers will be punished by the law in their crimes.
OMG!!! nakakaloka to ate Francesca! Sana wala na mabiktima. Sana rin maging lesson na to na everytime money is involved, dapat investigate muna ng maayos. JP Morgan Chase has a call center in Makati. Nde sila maghihire for their US posts kasi nga mas makakatipid sila sa labor sa Pinas kaya nga sa Pinas sila nagtatayo ng center. OMG! Wag na sana maniwala ang mga kababayan natin sa grupong gumagamit ng pangalan ng JP Morgan.
